03.01.2022 A new JobKeeper payment scheme has been announced today to keep Australia working. $130 billion JobKeeper package. $1,500 per fortnight, per employee for 6 months. ... Paid directly to businesses who keep their staff. Available to full and part-time workers, sole traders and casuals who have been with their employer for 12 months or more. Applications start today. Payments start from May 1 and will be backdated to today for staff who were on the books at March 1. Any business with a 30% reduction in turnover during COVID-19 crisis can claim.
