17.01.2022 Rally It is its fifth attempt, and The Taxi is confident it will last yet another rally this weekend. The Taxi and its owner, Jasen Crighton hold the record for being on every Hay Rust n Dust rally. It is unknown how The Taxi will be able to limp to the finish line for a fifth time, and Jasen will be supported by David Zambon and Anthony Booth. There are 27 starters and five support vehicles this year with a total of 87 people raising money for Can Assist, Angel Flight, Cance...r Council western division, and Hay Community Trust. Scrutineering starts at the Services club at 3pm tomorrow, Thursday, and the public is welcome to come and look at the cars which should all be on display by 4pm. Participants will assemble at the Cal Carpark on Friday from 6am where Hay Public School P&C will provide breakfast for everyone, including onlookers. The rally is expected to depart at 7am, returning on Monday late afternoon. The smaller intake of participant will allow everyone to abide by all COVID guidelines. See more
