19.01.2022 We recently teamed up with Carevan Wagga Inc. Where we are now able to provide our families with a home cooked meal once a week, all thanks to Carevan and their amazing support through staff and volunteers. It’s so nice to be able to pull out a home cooked meal and offer it to families for dinner. Often families come through in an emergency with little to no notice. Parents often say just being able to stay at Ronald McDonald House has taken so much stress away and to be abl...e to offer a home cooked meal on top of that is one less thing families need to worry about, meaning parents are able to focus on what matters the most their family! 15.01.2022 Feel Good Friday Nothing beats Jelly making with mum! Meet Mum Shelley and her daughter Sharae... While Sharae was recovering from surgery they were able to stay at our Ronald McDonald house, where they were able to call it home for 11 nights. We provide a home away from home for many families around the Riverina, so they can stay close to the hospital for their children to receive medical care and treatment. The staff and volunteers are absolutely fabulous. Im so grateful to have been able to use this service and have it so close to the hospital. Paying for accommodation for the better part of 2 weeks wouldve been a great inconvenience, if it hadnt of been for Ronald McDonald house. #homeawayfromhome #jelly #yummy #Rmhcwagga

13.01.2022 Our Family Room at the Hospital has been given the Green Light to welcome back VOLUNTEERS So from Monday the 15th February we will be welcoming you all back with open arms. You have all been missed greatly by the Charity, RMHC Wagga Staff Jenny, Lisa & Kiara.... This morning saw Volunteer Lyn lining up for duty 11 months after the room was closed due to Covid 19 or ‘that virus’ as my 5yr old grandson calls it. Lyn received an excited welcome from Hospital staff as well.
