25.01.2022 We have been blessed with some very beneficial rain over the last few months, and luckily it started falling after we had harvested all of our grapes. YES, we harvested our grapes and have made wine in 2020! (More on that later) The rain has allowed us to top up our precious Vineyard cover crop, which had deteriorated during the drought, but has now given us a chance to add in a wider and more diverse pasture system with the main goal of producing even better wine grapes - S...ome benefits include Weed suppression, stimulating mineral release, increasing organic matter, improving moisture retention and increasing overall soil health. The Crop includes Grasses, Cereals, Brassicas, Chenopods and Legumes and was planted with a heap of Worm Poo for added Soil microbes Thanks to PB Ag Consulting for developing this system, and working with me on Overall Vineyard health over the last 10 years. The results certainly show in our wines. Weve also done it with our very own new Custom built Seeder from Agrowplow Drill This is part of our Holistic approach to farming with the Ultimate Goal of producing better wines. 25.01.2022 Things have been a bit crazy lately! Weve been off the socials, but just wanted to give everyone a quick update: Cellar Door is open for Tastings - 7 days a week 10am - 4:30pm but one small change is you only need to make a booking for groups of 6 or more. ... Tastings are socially distanced, and we have fine tuned our numerous tasting areas and flights so you are in a warm, comfortable and safe environment. Our Vineyard is now 80% pruned, (Thanks Vineyard & Winery team) and the Cover Crop is looking amazingly green after some recent beautiful rain Weve recently gained ORGANIC CERTIFICATION as a winery facility which is great news for us and many of our friends who supply is organic fruit. Thanks to everyone for your support and visitation over the last 6 weeks - it has been MASSIVE! Cheers, RSW

23.01.2022 RS Vineyard update & photos: Thanks to United Contract Services for their quick service and help today when our trusty Silvan sprayer broke down ( it's now at Double'R getting fixed) Many people asking how our Chardonnay vines are going - the proof is in the photos, they are storming ahead and we are training them up weekly ... Cover crop providing beautiful Organic Matter and mulch, and we trimmed it for the 4th time this season last week Fruit looking perfect with plenty of soil moisture as we head towards flowering in November Shaping up to be a great season in the Vineyard

22.01.2022 We've put so much work into our Vineyard this Winter - and the results really dawned on me today, it's looking the best I've ever seen it. Thanks to our team for all their great work this year. We're also looking after the vines for our friends farmers quarters and the Organic "Wallenstein" Vineyard and look forward to working on those vineyards to renew, improve and harvest extra fruit for our growing brand. ... We really need this season to be kind to us, so fingers crossed for Mother Nature to be kind and let us produce the magic fruit we need to make delicious wine for us all to enjoy from Vintage 2021 Who's with us? 20.01.2022 NEW RELEASE Our 2020 SRG! Used to be known as the Semillon Riesling Gewurz this has evolved into SRG - Supporting Regional Growers meaning we purchase other local friends Grapes. ... This particular Vintage is mostly made from Burrundulla Wines Semillon and winemakers Jacob and Lisa say its one of our best to date! Very fruity, slightly effervescent and a nice lick of sweetness to finish makes it an easy mid week quaffer. Come out to the cellar door to taste or ask for it at your local - Kellys Irish Pub has it in the fridge!

11.01.2022 Spring has certainly Sprung in fine form this year. The excellent winter rain has helped our Cover Crop flourish and provide many beneficials to our vineyard. The lovely rain over winter has allowed us to start the season with a full moisture profile! (We haven't had this since 2017) We are re-invigorating our 1978 Chardonnay Block, by re-training up new arms to keep the vines happy and healthy. 08.01.2022 Tonight we raised a glass in memory of Malcolm Roth. Very sad news to hear the passing of a local legend of the Industry and all round top bloke. Malcolm grew grapes, including Riesling, and was a great farmer. ... We were able to make some wine for him, and purchase some fruit on occasions too. But it was his speech after him winning the 2017 Mudgee Wine Show Champion Wine of Show, that was most inspiring to me and one of the most memorable Malcolm occasions. I also loved when he was excited to drive me around in his old farm Ute, to show me his new season grape crop, which was always very good. You will be missed Malcolm, but never forgotten.
