22.01.2022 To the father of my children and an all round wonderful person, Happy Fathers Day. I love that you got to teach Reuben to ride a motorbike today, I think we won't hear the last of it for a while. We appreciate you every day and enjoy all the moments we spend together.... 20.01.2022 Several things happened in the making of this playsuit... I got tangled in it and ripped half down the middle I broke a needle my sewing machine lightbulb blew... I fed my 1 year old to sleep on my lap I drank 4 coffees I made popcorn for my children we stopped for a yoga break we read a book we listened to classical music together I love working from home so much, it gives me the freedom to be able to spend all the time with my boys while doing what I love. 19.01.2022 You know what this is? Not a bucket hat. I feel like I've been making nothing but bucket hats all week. It's not a lie, I have been doing bucket hats, so I'm glad for a little palette cleanser. I love making button up shirts and this blue check flanno romper is perfection for a baby.... The romper style is perfect for winter as it keeps the shirt down, no matter what. If you have had the pleasure of being around a baby, it is impossible to keep their shirt down over their back so in winter, well, brrrr I can also do short sleeve versions for summer in some pretty fun prints. 10.01.2022 Hats for days! I was going to go down to a local shop to talk about the possibility of stocking retail there () but got carried away cleaning the boys room today. I am switching out winter clothes for summer and doing a major cull of clothes that have been worn to death. I mean, Oscar has a few favourite t shirts that are almost see through! I can see I'll be making a few more tees for Ted in the cue. No hand me downs for the third child here. Well, fewer hand me downs than ...would otherwise be. 09.01.2022 We are all about dinosaurs, planes and underwater animals here in our house too. We borrowed a book from the library last week called 'How many dinosaurs deep?' And the boys are loving it. In fact, I know more about dinosaurs now than I think I ever did before! Throw a dino question at me and I bet I can answer it. ... 07.01.2022 Linen, big sleeves and wrap garments are just a few of my favourite things. What are some of your favourite things? I loved when Cherie asked me to make a wrap top for her.... We discussed her desires for extra length and longer sleeves with elastic at the wrist and I was able to customise the top accordingly. I am in love with it and suddenly want to add long sleeves like this to everything. Cherie @wovenwrapsaustralia

07.01.2022 Is this not a top that would be on high rotation in your wardrobe? I absolutely know it would be in daily use if I had it in women's sizes. What do you think? Should I make a pattern for us ladies? Let's talk sleeves- big? Long? Short? Ruffles? Hit me up and I'll see what I am capable of.... Note- I have never made a pattern of my own before and have relied on some beautiful independent pattern designers for my patterns but I'm not above giving it a crack!

02.01.2022 How many times have I heard my older son speak only to think 'gosh that sounds like me'. Some days it makes me incredibly proud to hear him looking after, guiding and teaching his younger brothers. Some days I am ashamed of the moment I lost my head. It's so hard to get the balance right as a parent. ... Just know, children are forgiving. Lead by example and a little ice cream now and then doesn't hurt. (Our boys love home made banana ice cream. They love it even more when they get to help make it and eat it for breakfast). Do you ever hear yourself speaking out of your children?
