23.01.2022 Great news! The club has just received word we have officially been granted entry in to the PFL Womens competition for 2019! This is massive news for the club and a result of alot of hard work from alot of people. 20.01.2022 WOMENS TEAM COACHES REGISTRATION OF INTEREST The Club is seeking registration of interest for coaches of the Clubs new 2019 Womens teams. We already have 27 player names and believe that there is a strong opportunity that we will be fielding 2 teams in the inaugural year especially as we have been informed of changes in the WAWFL structure which may result in more women opting to play community football. There is no formal position description as it is intended to be an informal process at this point in time. Remuneration will be paid with other benefits. 18.01.2022 The Wanneroo Amateur Football Club extends an invitation to all females who are interested in playing or being involved with the clubs 2019 womens football team to attend an information and training night on the 11th August at 6pm. Order of the night will be: 5:45pm - arrive at the Wanneroo Showgrounds clubrooms 6pm - meet and greet in the hall next to the bar with an overview of the clubs and its facilities... 6:30pm - head in to the changerooms to get changed 6:50pm - start light training and skills session to run for roughly 40 minutes All are welcome to stay on for the clubs match day awards. If you have never played before dont be worried. We will teach you the skills and regardless it all about having fun and enjoying the social side of football. Bring training gear, runners and a friend.

16.01.2022 UPDATE ON TOMORROW NIGHT The Information Session will proceed as per the previous post but the light training run will be postponed due to the soft ground and 4 games tomorrow. As well as the information session, we encourage you all to come and watch an action packed day for the club and hang around for awards afterwards.... In regards to the training, the club would like to invite you to come down on Tuesday night at 5.30pm and join the League and Reserves for the warmup and then the Senior Club Coach and A Reserves Coach will split into 2 sessions depending upon your skill levels. We look forward to seeing a bunch of new faces tomorrow 5.45pm.

11.01.2022 TRAINING RUN TOMORROW Please arrive in time for a 5.30pm start. The light training run will be with Brayden Duckworth, Senior Club Coach. It will run for about 30cminutes. You can wear boots or runners. Hope to see many of you there!

07.01.2022 PLAYERS WANTED! The PFL have organised an AFLX tournament that will be run this Saturday at Pat O'Hara Reserve, Morley. Any women that are interested in playing please provide your details to president Geoff Burwood (0418 922 837, [email protected]) no later than mid-day tomorrow (Friday 15th) for registration. Any women that are interested in playing for the inaugural Wanneroo AFC Women's Team for season 2019 should also contact the President. Training continues Wednesdays 5:30 at Lake Joondalup Park.

06.01.2022 We are pleased to announce the signing of Chelsea Cheng as coach for 2019. Chelsea has experience as an assistant coach at Ocean Ridge JFC, as well as with her West Perth team while she was injured. This is the latest step in our journey to our maiden season in the WAAFL competition. Stay tuned for more updates as the season draws closer

05.01.2022 Wanneroo Amateur Football Club announces that the 2018 Annual General Meeting will be held on 11am Sunday 21 October, 2018 at the Wanneroo Showgrounds Clubrooms.... Generally the AGM takes less than 1 hour. This is your opportunity as a member to review the clubs performance, raise any issues, ideas or concerns you may have. As there will be a number of retirements from the Committee, consider if you wish to take the next step and volunteer for a position.
