25.01.2022 Church services at Rosanna Uniting Church during April and May will be at 10 am on Easter Sunday, April 4th, April 11th, and 25th, May 9th, 23rd, and 30th. The service on May 30th is a combined Banyule Network Service. Services in the intervening weeks will be at Gresswell Uniting Church at 10 am. All welcome.

19.01.2022 The first concert in our 2020 series is entitled "A Bevy of Blokes - and their Ladies" and features baritones Adam Miller and Christian Smith along with tenor Douglas Kelly and pianist David McNicol, aided and abetted by Julie Houghton, Karen Van Spall and Piera Dennerstein. Operatic hits, Music theatre, art songs and lieder, plus a bit of poetry from the irrepressible Julie Houghton. Bookings are now being taken on 9457 2595.

18.01.2022 On Sunday 20th October we were pleased to welcome our furry friends (and their owners) to our worship service for a special "Blessing of the Pets". All behaved beautifully!

17.01.2022 It might have been showery but the crowds still came, eager to be first to grab the bargains at the Strawberry Fair yesterday. The kids had a great time on the mini-golf; the face painting and funny-face biscuits were popular and the pancakes, sausages and lunchroom delights were enjoyed by all. Thanks to all who worked hard to make it a successful day.

15.01.2022 The next service at Arden Crescent Rosanna Uniting Church will be at 10am on Sunday, 7th of February. At this service, Alastair Davison will present Keith Tupper with a certificate to acknowledge his 60 years as a Lay Preacher. Services in February will be combined with Gresswell Uniting Church and will alternate between the two churches. All welcome. Please wear a mask and check in with the QR code on arrival.

13.01.2022 The next concert at Rosanna is "Lollipops" - favourite tunes and parlour songs from the worlds of musical theatre and opera by some very talented artists. Gershwin's 'The man I love'; 'Master of the House' from 'Les Miserables'; 'Oom Pah Pah' from Oliver; 'Five Eyes' from 'Cats' and maybe some Gilbert and Sullivan. Soprano Suzanne Shakespeare, mezzo Karen van Spall, contralto Julie Houghton, baritone Adam Miller and pianist David McNicol will create a magical afternoon's entertainment on Sunday, 3rd March at 2 pm. at Rosanna Uniting Church, 21 Arden Crescent, Rosanna. 13.01.2022 Easter services at Rosanna and Gresswell Uniting Churches will be combined and held as follows: Maundy Thursday - 7.30 pm at Gresswell, 76 Greenwood Drive, Bundoora, Good Friday - 9.30am at Rosanna, 21 Arden Crescent, Rosanna, Easter Sunday - 10am at Gresswell.

11.01.2022 Great news! after more than a year of silence at Arden Crescent on Sunday afternoons, our venue will soon be alive again with the sounds of music for a trial run of two concerts, with perhaps more to come. Bookings are now being taken for Sunday, June 27th at 3 pm when Julie Houghton and friends will return for an anniversary concert with a selection of their hits from the past ten years; music theatre, Gilbert and Sullivan, popular opera, and the odd surprise. Julie will ho...st the show as we welcome Suzanne Shakespeare (soprano), Christopher Cox (tenor), Adam Miller (baritone), Kiran Rajasingam (baritone), and Coady Green, solo pianist/accompanist. The second concert will be on Sunday, August 1st at 3 pm, when Antoinette Halloran and James Egglestone, who were scheduled to perform at Arden Crescent in April 2020, will now be entertaining us on August 1, 2021. The concerts will commence at 3 pm and will run straight through for about an hour. Because of Covid restrictions, audience numbers at this stage are restricted to 90 people and tickets must be pre-booked by phoning Sylvia on 9457 2595. Adults $30, Concession $25. See more

10.01.2022 On Sunday, 3rd January, 2021 there will be a church service at Rosanna Uniting Church at 10am. The first service there since March 2020! Check-in will be by QR code and masks will need to be worn indoors. All welcome!

08.01.2022 Looking forward to the concert this Sunday (23rd June) at 2pm at Arden Crescent Uniting Church, Rosanna when four young and upcoming artists will be performing with us for the third time. These very talented young people have brilliant careers ahead of them. Chloe Harris and Amanda Middleditch will be singing songs by Poulenc, Gounod, Mozart, Novello and others, including the lovely Flower Duet by Delibes. Will Hardy is an all-round entertainer - he plays the recorder and als...o sings, acts and plays flute and tenor saxophone. Charlotte Miles is a 16 year-old cello player who has already won international awards and played at Carnegie Hall. Her younger brother Jamie will also be playing a duet with her on the viola. 02.01.2022 The Church of Christ in Doncaster has organized a virtual program of Christmas Carols, on Friday 4th December 2020, from 7 pm 9 pm. There is a great line-up of artists, which includes Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Silvie Paladino, Richard Thomas, the Melbourne Male Welsh Choir, Natalie Ong, Opera Scholars, Australia and Snack Band, with Guy Noble as Compere.
