25.01.2022 Our wonderful Community Tree is taking shape

24.01.2022 Rotary Australia and New New Zealand is celebrating 100 years. On the weekend 6 local Rotary Clubs came together to take commemorative baton through Kyabram, Tatura, Mooropna and Shepparton. Rotary Mooroopna received the baton at 11.00am visiting a number of iconic locations in the town, Mooroopna Place (Rodney Park Retirement Village), Westside Performing Arts, Mooroopna Museum, Chinaman's Gardens and the Mooroopna Cenotaph. The locations chosen have been major projects the club have proudly contributed towards and driven. Thank you to the Rotary Club of Shepparton for co-ordinating the day. It was a wonderful celebration.

22.01.2022 It was such a pleasure to meet Kevin Heenan a returned serviceman who served in Vietnam. His father and uncle served during WWII in New Guinea. It was a privilege to hear a number of stories from Kevin as he reminisced about the past.

09.01.2022 Congratulations to all competitors this weekend. Inspirational efforts. Our club volunteered at the registration tent, bag check in and bike compound across the two days. Another example of the club supporting our fabulous community.

08.01.2022 Anzac Day - Order of Service at Mooroopna Cenotaph 8.45am - March to commence at the Old Water Tower in McLennan Street 9.00am - The Honourable Damien Drum (Member for Nicholls) will perform the rededication of the Mooroopna Cenotaph... 9.10am - Anzac Day Service Join us, as we commemorate this service and the great debt we owe the men & women of our Australian Defence Force.

06.01.2022 Re-dedication of the Mooroopna Cenotaph & ANZAC Day Service This year is a big year for the Mooroopna Cenotaph. Not only are we able to hold our ANZAC Day Servi...ce but since all of the refurbishments and Digi Glass panels have been installed we will also be rededicating the Cenotaph. Originally dedicated on the 25th April 1928. The March will commence at the Old Water Tower in McLennan Street at 8.45am, arriving at the Cenotaph at 9.00am. The Honourable Damien Drum (Member for Nicholls) will perform the rededication with the ANZAC Day Service to shortly follow. Show your support as we commemorate this service and the great debt we owe the men & women of our Australian Defence Force for their courage & sacrafice.
