24.01.2022 The RSPCA NSW Sustainability Committee needs your help this Christmas! We’re looking for some superstar sewing skills that could replicate laundry bags like in the photos below. This Christmas we have one thing on our wish listreusable laundry bags! As you can imagine, our largest shelter at Yagoona Sydney goes through a LOT of laundry every day, which is currently contained in plastic garbage bags. ... Our requirements would be: - Size needs to be approximately 80cm H x 50cm W (to fit our laundry baskets) - Completely machine washable material like cotton - A sewn-in drawstring is preferable but not completely necessary - Any colour or pattern would be great - Labelled permanently if possible : Kittery Cat flu Calici Adoptions Upstairs cattery Treatment room Holding room Strays If you're interested in helping us out this silly season, you can drop off your laundry bags at the ALBURY BRANCH, 610 Hume Street, and we will make sure they get to our Head Office where cats and dogs from all over NSW (including our region!) are cared for and rehomed. THANK YOU for helping us make our shelters and the world more green!

06.01.2022 ADOPTED "I wish to confirm that ‘Summer’ is already ruling the roost here and we are absolutely keeping her. She’s made such a difference to our family already and is much loved. I’m not getting much work done though as she’s my little shadow!" Another happy ending for one of our furry fosters. Each one goes through a two week trial period before they are officially adopted to make sure both the family and their new member are happy together. That's how we know we can tr...uly say... Enjoy forever Summer! If you'd like to see who is up for adoption at the Alburu Branch visit www.adoptapet.org.au
