Thank you for not only getting around our short film but for backing us for the past 4 years. You have given us a story and film to share, and this is something that means a great deal to us. You’re all a bunch of absolute legends & we can’t wait to share, connect and meet more of you in the future! 06.01.2022 THE ROOTS OF RYDE An idea that was born 18 months ago, for a short film not only about Ryde Clothing, but also the inspiring and beautiful place that the brand was born. This place, is called The Riverland. The film idea sparked when I was travelling Europe in 2019 with no social media, I was reflecting on how different home was and how lucky I feel to live here, a voiceover was scribbled down in my notebook and ‘The Roots of Ryde’ was coming to life. After plenty of conversa...tions with people from outside the area, people weren’t quite sure what we actually did in this town. I wanted to create something to capture how I, and a lot of the locals here, feel about our home, what it has to offer and all of the cool things we get up to here. This Project couldn't have happened without a great friend of mine @louisraymo, I brought my ideas to him and he showed just as much passion as I did and wanted to take the lead to bring this to life, so thank you brother, this wouldn't have been possible without you and everyone else that came to feature in the film to make it what it is. This film is one that sits very close to our hearts and we hope everyone that doesn’t know about The Riverland feels excited to come here and that all of the locals can feel proud to call this place home. 06.01.2022 Hey there legends! If we haven't met yet. I'm Nathan the creator of Ryde Clothing, starting in mid 2016 during high school after a knee injury and feeling pretty flat about that I decided to start drawing and handprinting tees from my bedroom and selling them at lunchtimes at school to my friends and teachers. 4 years on and Ryde clothing has evolved a hell of alot but the passion has always stayed the same, a simple love for the outdoors, Adventure, my hometown and having a whole lot of fun. Thankyou for following a long this journey, it feels like we're just gettin' started

We decided to gather a group of rad people & create a short film to showcase our home here in the Riverland, what we get up to here, the inspiration behind the brand and so much more.
