We are current...ly at Level B. I also remind you of the requirement to get in train get out. What this means is that you should avoid socializing before, during and after training as social distancing is applicable.

20.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE FROM THE SADNA PRESIDENT: I refer to the communication issued by Netball SA on 18th March in regard to Winter 2020 competition. The executive of the SADNA Board of Management have met and discussed this issue at length and have decided to postpone the start of Winter competition to 30th May 2020.... To allow for 14 rounds to be played it will be necessary to play on the June Long Weekend and during the July school holidays. Please see the revised programme below. Nominations for the Winter Competition will now close on Monday 27th April 2020. If Netball SA push the date out beyond the 30th May SADNA will not go ahead with the Competition and the $40 per player will be refunded to clubs. SADNA Board of Management are of the view that a start date beyond the 30th May will not leave enough time to complete the competition and get ready for the Summer 20/21 season. At this time nominations for Summer season will close on Monday 24th August for the competition to commence on the 12th October 2020. With regards to Federal Government Health Department recommendations, I am in daily communication with Netball SA and as more information becomes available I will provide further updates.

18.01.2022 **IMPORTANT MESSAGE RE: RESCHEDULED ROUND 8 SENIOR/INTER MATCHES FROM THE SADNA PRESIDENT - GAMES TO BE ABANDONED ** I had a Project meeting with the City of TTG this morning regarding the re-surfacing of the courts. At that meeting I was informed that work is scheduled to commence on Monday 14th December, 2020. This date is not flexible in order to have the works completed in time for resumption of matches on January 29th 2021.... So therefore we will not be able to play the round of matches we re-scheduled for the 14th December. These matches will now be abandoned. Wishing you all a safe and happy festive season. John Adams SADNA President

11.01.2022 A MESSAGE FROM THE SADNA PRESIDENT: SADNA has been advised by Netball SA that Netball is not exempt from the mass gathering ban announced by the Australian Prime Minister on Friday, 13 March and that the risk to players, officials and the game is paramount in the decision process. SADNA has already been advised by several of its member clubs that some players have within the last 14 days travelled within countries identified as high risk and as such it would be irresponsible ...of SADNA to risk exposing its netball community to the threat of infection. I can now confirm that there will be no further matches conducted for the Summer 2019 /2020 finals season On behalf of the Board of Management of SADNA I seek your understanding of this decision and although your club and its players have worked hard to reach the final series I seek your support of the decision that has been made. For the summer 2019/2020 season the premiers and runner ups will be determined by the results of the minor round. SADNA will make arrangements with individual clubs to pick up medallions for successful teams and individual trophies for distribution to the successful players. Discussions are ongoing with Netball SA regarding the upcoming Winter 2020 competition and I will advise further when I have more information.

09.01.2022 AN UPDATE FROM THE SADNA PRESIDENT Hi to all SADNA members 1. Corona Virus update It has been sometime since I provided an update with regard to Corona Virus and SADNA's winter netball competition.... As you will all be aware restrictions remain in place for social gatherings that include netball, however, we hope to commence a winter netball competition on 30 May, but this will be dependant on the current restrictions being lifted. The restrictions on social gatherings also apply to training and I have been advised by Netball SA that there is to be no training until mid May. If we are able to commence on 30 May it is likely that we will schedule a 14 round competition with a 3 round finals series to enable a short break before the summer season commences. In order to achieve this it will be necessary to schedule matches to be played during the term 2 school holidays as well as over the queens birthday long weekend. If the commencement date is pushed out beyond 30 May other arrangements may be necessary and SADNA's competitions committee is currently investigating options. As soon as we know what is happening I will provide a further update. The decision to recommence community sport is based on a recommendation by the SA Health Dept. based on many criteria, not withstanding that, there seems to be a growing expectation that sport will recommence sooner rather than later All clubs have been advised that registrations for winter will now close on 4 May so I urge you to be in regular touch with your club to register your interest in playing whatever the format will be for 2020 winter netball. 2. General Some good news, work has commenced on the carpark entrance and exit adjacent to the Golden Grove Police Station and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2020 We are working with the City of Tea Tree Gully council to secure funding to resurface all (20) courts with an acrylic finish to bring the courts up to a regional sports complex standard. More to come on this. In the interests of the health and welfare of all players and spectators, no smoking signs have been erected around the perimeter of the courts and you are asked to respect this initiative

05.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Further to my advice from last week the Prime Minister had a press conference on Friday 1st May and one of the key points of interest was the National Sports Principles. Netball SA is gathering further information and an understanding on this, and have committed to advise SADNA with an update this week.... The Prime Minister advised further decisions regarding lifting restrictions and the return of community sport will be made on Friday 8th May. We remain confident that matches will commence for Winter 2020 on the 30th May. As soon as I know more I will provide an update to you.

04.01.2022 A message from our sponsor

02.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Further to my last update, I am awaiting advice from Netball SA regarding the commencement of Winter 2020 season. I remain hopeful that Winter 2020 will commence in June and will advise as soon as I receive further updates from Netball SA.... I am sorry for the continued delay but be assured we are working behind the scenes and are ready to proceed as soon as we are given the go ahead.
