16.01.2022 In just under three weeks we will be having our first official juniors night. Three of our leaders are ex juniors themselves that absolutely adored being in the program so much so that they wanted to be a part of the next generation of firefighters. Being involved with the CFA isn’t just about putting out fires, it is much more than that which is where our program really comes into power. We go through leadership skills, general fire safety, first aid, how to use the rad...ios to communicate effectively, how to approach different situations that may occur on a fire call and so much more. This helps not only in the transition from junior to senior but also in our everyday lives. This is all done in a fun, safe and controlled environment where children are encouraged to be themselves and support one another. It’s never too late to get involved. If this is something you are interested in please message us via Facebook or email us at [email protected] and one of our incredible leaders will get back to you ASAP to get you on your way to becoming a junior. We look forward to hearing from you. See more

12.01.2022 Young people see CFA as a place where they can belong, where they don’t need to be the best sports person, the most talented or the most popular, and it is regarded as a place where everybody is accepted Here at the Scoresby junior brigade, we stand by this message and believe that our program showcases many of these attributes. We strive to provide a safe and happy environment where children can be children in an educational space full of fun, friendship, belonging and community service. For more information or to get involved contact us via Facebook or email: [email protected]

06.01.2022 This year we'll be doing something from a little for the Good Friday Appeal. With a the current COVID-19 Pandemic we are disappointed to say that you wont't see... our members out on the corners with our traditional tin rattle. Despite this we are still going to go ahead with our fundraising efforts in a different format, and every cent makes a difference for both the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and all the patients they treat. We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone and would like to thank you in advance for any donation you are able to make, all money raised goes directly to the Good Friday Appeal.
