25.01.2022 We're all about Christmas cheer here at Head Office, with one of our star employees, Romy taking the cup If it were up to Romy, we'd be laying in the sun all day - unfortunately dogs cannot own an RTO, so we've been told. For the lucky chance to meet Romy, you will need to visit our Head Office in Newport, NSW! We have courses filling up left, right and centre (port, starboard and amidships?), but you can find out when there is availability by looking at our timetable on our website: https://www.seaschool.com.au/commercial-certific/timetable

25.01.2022 Who do we think is more excited for boating during Summer, us or Rosie? With warmer weather right around the corner, please make sure you are prepared for all occasions! Sea School has a variety of commercial and recreational courses to ensure you’re ready to take your vessels out safely this Summer! Visit our website for more information: https://www.seaschool.com.au

24.01.2022 Another great day out on the water in Perth last week! Visit our website seaschool.com.au or call us on 1300 666 416 to find out more about our qualifications and when they are running!

24.01.2022 Thinking of the thunderstorm forceast for Sydney and pretending I am here instead... (Unless the vessel has stopped, in which case I would get sea sick, and would much prefer sitting in bed during a thunderstorm) If you enjoy your fishing trips, you might want to consider getting your recreational boat licence, so you are able to travel to the big boys. ... Our agents are currently filling up their December slots quickly, so if this was something you were planning on doing, I would suggest booking in right away! (Unless you're like me and get sea sick - maybe we can stay and watch from the nice and sunny beach?) You can find all information relating to our recreational boat licencing on our website: https://www.seaschool.com.au/recreational-boat-licence/

23.01.2022 "Thanks Sea School and particularly Trevor for imparting your extensive knowledge during our recent MED course. It was a relaxed but informative adult learning environment and I really got a lot out of the course. Thanks for sharing your experiences and passion for the marine industry." - Douglas, Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 Sea School Graduate

23.01.2022 Headed out on a boating trip? It’s quick, easy and free to Log On and Log Off with Marine Rescue NSW via VHF Channel 16 or the MarineRescue App. Tell them where... you’re going and when you expect to return. The Marine Rescue NSW volunteers will keep watch and if you’re not safely back as planned, will start to search for you. #NationalSafeBoatingWeek #TripPlanning #PlanIt

23.01.2022 If your 2020 New Year resolution was to do one of our courses, this is your last chance! We are seeing our courses book up quickly across the board as Summer approaches (not quickly enough if you ask me). There is limited availability at most of our training centers around Australia for the remainder of the year, and the first few months of 2021 are looking to book up soon as well! To see if we still have space for you, please head to our website and review our timetable: htt...ps://www.seaschool.com.au/commercial-certifica/timetable Or call our ever-so-lovely staff team on 1300 666 416 from 9am-5pm AEDT. 22.01.2022 "Just wanted to thank you guys for running a great course, the information and discussions that were had during the course were great. Trevors experience and knowledge was amazing to say the least, I personally felt I learnt more in the 3 days than I have in a long time, just being able to recap on the basics and having a teacher who concentrated on what a MED II would actually be working on as oppose to bombarding us with information we would never or cant put into practi...ce, was great. A few guys from work have been asking where to do their marine tickets..Ill be passing on your number and recommending they dont go anywhere else. Thanks again guys." - Stacey Campbell - Recent Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 Graduate

Such as: - Keeping a minimum of 1.5 meters between students at all times. - Maintaining smaller class sizes. - Providing hand washing/sanitising stations in all classrooms. We advise any students who feel that their immune system is compromised take their safety into consideration when deciding to attend courses. We also respectfully ask that if you present any symptoms similar to those of COVID-19, have been in contact with somebody who has presented those symptoms or have been overseas recently, that you follow the self-isolation recommendations set in place by the Government, inform your nearest medical clinic or hospital and postpone your course. 17.01.2022 With the developing COVID-19 hotspot around our Head Office in Newport, Sydney, Sea School International have taken precautions to protect both our students and staff. Thankfully, with Christmas next week, we do not have any commercial courses coming until Janua...ry 11th, for now these are still going ahead (unless the situation escalates, and the NSW Government advise us it will be unsafe to continue). Once courses do recommence in the New Year, staff will be temperature checking students on arrival and as always, offering hand sanitiser and continually deep cleaning the classrooms. To all of our followers, please remain safe and follow all precautionary advisements. Isolate when appropriate and please, spread a little kindness this holiday season.
