18.01.2022 With Sensory Santa starting up in the next couple of weeks... I have looked back on what Sensory Santa and what it has meant for me as a parent with special needs children. When the twins were 9 months old they had their very first Santa photo... I didn't realise what a journey I would go through with my children that they would never have a photo with santa until 9 years later.. Now because of Sensory Santa I have had Santa Photos for the last 5 years.. I am now filling up t...hose gaps in our albums... Although I'm not sure how many more photos I will be able to get.. (although I say I'm making up for the 8 years missed) But what is even better is I am helping other families with special needs to fill up their gaps.. Every year we had more Shopping Centres wanting to host Sensory Santa... Bookings will open shortly head to www.sensorysouls.com.au ... The 2018 Quiz Night is fundraising to improve our Sensory Room at our Hub, located in Darch, and to establish a Hub and sensory room south of the river. Sensory Rooms provide therapeutic stimulation for people with intellectual, developmental and sensory disabilities, as well as people with autism spectrum disorders. Please bring your friends, family and general knowledge skills to an entertaining night with lots of prizes to be won. 07.01.2022 And thats a wrap with Sensory Santa for 2017. This year we managed 20 Shopping Centres, running 51 Sensory Santa sessions, 2 Sensory Santa shopping mornings in 2 Countries (Australia & New Zealand), 4 States of Australia over 5 weeks, that reached just under 550 families to have the opportunity to have a photo with Santa. Thank you to all the Marketing Managers of the shopping Centres who support Sensory Santa. ... Thank you to our Sensory Santa helpers who were at different locations around Australia......Kendra, Vicki, Kate, Stacey, Naomi, Hannah and Alyssa. Now because of Sensory Santa I have had Santa Photos for the last 6 years.. I am now filling up those gaps in our photo albums... But what is even better is Sensory Santa is helping other families with special needs to fill up their gaps... My children as they are getting harder to convince to have a photo. But I tell them they owe me 8 years of photos and I am cashing them in.

01.01.2022 This morning Midland Gate Shopping Centre held Sensory Santa for families with special needs. Midland Gate have a magical Christmas Display. I especially love the Big Reindeer.
