24.01.2022 I know what your thinking. Why would we put identical pictures of Tiger Woods up side by side? Well the truth is the one on the left is actually none other than Charlie Watson! I know right! Charlie has taken out the 2018 (and inaugural) Order of Merit for the SGA TAS TOUR. He scrambled through the final round, including a few trick shots, but at the end of the day had accumulated enough points during the year to walk away with the trophy. Congratulations Charlie!

In 2020, SGA are again hosting two weeks of golf in Thailand, the 9th annual SGA International in Hua Hin (March ...1-7, 2020) and a brand new event, the SGA Pattaya Golf Week in Pattaya (March 7-16, 2020). We are thrilled to have put together such an incredible lineup of golf courses for both weeks, and we are also excited to be using the Golf Genius - Australia software to be not only hosting the event, but taking bookings aswell. Designed for social golfers the tour is an opportunity to get out on the course with friends and play for fun, for bragging rights or for prizes. Greg took home the coveted Championship (coffee mug) Cup for his round 7 victory. The pristine Thirlstane Course is a credit to its members and worth checking out for a great round and a warm welcome!

16.01.2022 Congratulations to Gary Fulton for taking out round 3 of the SGA TAS TOUR at Quamby Estate. After a false start in the scorers box Gary edged out Troy Orpwood and Scott Alexander with a winning total of 41 points on the stunning Quamby Estate layout. Thanks to Gary, Daniel Dixon and Steve Blockley for coming along to their first TAS TOUR event!

12.01.2022 A big thanks to Mowbray Golf Club for hosting round 4 of the 2019 SGA TAS TOUR. This round we replaced our regular Watson (Charlie) with and upgraded model (Christopher) and the results were outstanding. Chris scored 39 points on his way to victory in his first SGA event and first trip to Mowbray. Well done Chris! Thanks to all who came along and enjoyed the spectacular Autumn conditions. Next round is May 19th at Greens Beach, sure to be a cracker!

10.01.2022 100% Strike rate! Steve Robertson took out round 1 of the 2019 SGA TAS TOUR in glorious conditions at Country Club Tasmania making it his second win in as many outings. Steve proved too good with an impressive 41 points ahead of Andrew Quill in second and reigning Tour Champion Jacob Ball on count back.There were calls for ASADA testing after social player Robert Nimmo slipped into a groove and picked up two nearest the pins for his efforts. Thanks to SGA Tas first timer Steve Lowe for making his tour debut.

09.01.2022 Great day at Greens Beach Golf Club! Thanks to Greens Beach Golf Club for their fantastic hospitality as hosts of round 5 of the SGA 2019 TAS Tour. First time tour participant Chris Powell walked away with the victory after edging out good performances from C. Watson (original) and Dan Dixon. A great effort from Dan and Matt Ross both playing for the first time on official handicaps Get down and check out some of the things going on at Greens Beach including clinics and fun days. Great club!
