22.01.2022 Most relaxing as I had a busy weekend in Mackay,will return and recoommend to other people. Ian Positive: Breakfast was fine. Totally enjoyed the continental Well presented and easy to self serve. Negative: Can't say there wasn't anything it did not liked. Many years ago I travelled to Mackay and always stayed at the Shakespeare. Still a well kept and clean. It was pleasing to see a staff member from many years ago still working in the bar and dining room. Very pleasant person years ago and still the same way now.

John Positive: We were on a road trip from Sydney to Port Douglas, the stay was excellent on the way North, so we had to stay again on the way back home. Would recommend to anyone. Negative: Whats not to like, everything was better than you would expect for the money.

Not to mention the food from romeo and juliettes restaurant and room service is outstanding. I would stay here any day of the week over any major hotel chain hands down. Negative: The fact i didnt stay here sooner.
