24.01.2022 Des, Linda, Chevron and Joel are a family and good friends of mine from Kalgoorlie. They all work in different industries from mines to the police force, all are hard working people who work long hours and have young families. We were able to join thier superannuations together and roll it into a self managed super fund ( SMSF) to invest into property. 17.01.2022 To break it down as simply as possible; your industry or retail Super fund uses your money to invest in things such as private equity, government bonds, shares etc. Essentially this is how your Super fund grows, along with your employer/personal contributions - in preparation for your retirement. Buying property with your Super is in essence the same thing, but instead of investing those funds into shares and hedge funds etc, you buy property. Property over the past 25 years... has just proven to be a stronger performer with a higher ROI (avg annual growth for industry funds: 5.6%, avg annual house value growth 6.8%), with additional incentives (leverage, tax benefits, government grants etc). This doesn't mean you shouldn't investment money into traditional Super assets, and ONLY buy property.. but why wouldn't you do both? 09.01.2022 We are Kiwi's who moved to Australia in 2008 when my wife was recruited. Like a lot of people we wanted to set our family up financially and have a secure fut...ure.
