22.01.2022 I JUST DON’T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ALL THESE LIPSTICKS Worry not my beauties....here’s some tips to help you decide. ?... These lipsticks deliver big, bold colours. One swipe your lips are fully painted. They are highly pigmented Make lips looks fuller and place the focal point directly on the lips Disguises your natural lip line so you can play around with lip pencils and blend and apply over your lip line for the illusion of bigger and fuller lips Long wearing and don’t come off easily They can also be drying so prep your lips before applying or Pat a little lip balm on top for some moisture and movement. These lipsticks are lighter in tone and are formulated so they have a little less pigment but a more velvet/gloss finish These are perfect for people prone to dry lips They glide on smooth and feel hydrating on the lips Great if you love a pop of colour but not too bold As they are glossier they tend to move so you may experience bleeding through your lips lines or smudging. You will need to top up you Lillie more often too. These lipsticks generally offer more gloss and much less pigment. Super moisturising Minimal and effortless Great for an understated look, so wanting to look like you have something on without it being so apparent Perfect for a light and fresh makeup look As it’s not so high in pigment you can wear it during the day without looking ott Keep it handy for frequent top ups. 18.01.2022 ! Watching the masked singer (which I still don’t get) I realised I have masked myself up also. Hiding behind the scenes, doing what I know but not really sharing much about myself. I have worked so hard over the years. Forged some incredible relationships and partnerships. I lost sleep hustling and building. Working stupid hours and never giving up on my vision. ... It's important to know which one best complements your eyes, style, and look for the day. If you use the wrong one, it will conceal the beauty of your eyes and may clash with your style.... .. . . Blue eyes belong to the cool tone family, and so warm tones will provide the best contrast to bring out their irises. Try earthy tones, slate grey, and taupe. Use pink or rose when you want a brighter look. Avoid using blue eye makeup because it will result in a dulling of your eyes. When you have beautiful green eyes, try purple, mauve, violet, lilac, and plum. For a different look that works try brown with some bronze and gold specks in it. Too light you look pale and washed out like a corpse and too dark looks like the ugliest shade of brown - you know the one that your great aunty used to wear. The perfect lipstick looks chic and glamorous, not dull and dated.... The perfect shade should really balance your complexion, accentuate your lips and brighten your face. To find the right tone it’s not just about your skin colour but also your undertone. Your skin undertone is the colour underneath the surface of the skin. Skin tones are usually described as light, medium, or dark (with a whole host of shades in between) and skin undertones are generally split into warm, cool, and neutral. Make sure you know if your complexion is cool, warm, or neutral to help find your best nude lipstick shade. , ’ : Soft Dusty Baby Pinks : Rosey-Beige : Warm Pink and Beige both look great. You want more pigment and warmth so it doesn’t blend with your skin tone. : Beige/Caramel tone. Make sure it’s darker than your skin tone so you don’t look washed out. 01.01.2022 ! What a year it has been! 2020 for me was like a really bad car accident, the kind where your car becomes a complete write off. You feel me? There is a huge inconvenience when your car is written off - you have to make plans for temporary transport, deal with the paperwork, search for a new car. But then...when the stress of it is over, you manage to find another car you like, this time one with some extra bells and whistles. Y...ou sit in that car, smell the new car smell and learn all its features and get used to driving it. And then, after a moment, you realise that the car crash wasn't so bad after all! This year was like a bad car crash for me, where my business was written off. And off I went soul searching once again, to connect with myself a little more and to understand where exactly I was headed and wanted to go with my business. Was it the same for you? I started SHE By SHARRY 6 years ago and with extra supportive nudge from one my of dearest friends @hattieboydle I took a leap of faith and stamped my name in the Fitness Industry. I looked back on all my clients, all my adventures and opportunities and thought about what I had offered, was it great? Did my SHE Beauties have amazing experiences? How was I nurturing my relationship with my clients? Did I do my best? Short answer is I thought I did but I was travelling so fast sometimes I missed several stop signs along the way. ? I have been dissecting everything I’ve done for the last 6 years. Searching deep within me to understand what it is exactly I want to bring to my valued followers and clients. What is it that I have that you need? How can I truly make a difference with the art and knowledge of makeup? How do I fulfill your needs, ones that you may not even know you have or need? This downtime has truly been a blessing in disguise, it’s been hard, but overall a moment (a very long one) to standstill and refocus and reevaluate is just what I needed.
