Each year, donations from The Giving Tree provide hundreds of families throughout the community with extra support to brighten their Christmas. You can help share some Christmas joy by leaving an unwrapped gift next to the tree in the Civic Centre foyer. ... If you are someone who was at the Coffee Club in Shellharbour on Sun 27 Dec at the allocated time, please make sure you follow this advice to get tested and isolate for 14 days even though your results may be negative.

Another section of the new East West Link will open to traffic as part of the Albion Park Rail bypass from 3 December 2020, weather permitting. The new section of road between Durgadin Drive & the Oak Flats interchange will connect the existing East West Link to the interchange in a temporary arrangement to allow work for the bypass to continue in the area. Shellharbour Rd medians Lake Entrance Rd medians Addison/Wattle Rd lights Keross Ave/Shellharbour Rd lights Shellharbour Rd/Lake Entrance Rd lights Windang bridge Works will include the use of whipper snippers & blowers. These works need to be carried out regularly in order to maintain safe line of sight for drivers. Due to the location, volume of traffic & road occupancy license rules, it is deemed to be the safest time for staff to carry out these tasks. The police will be notified of the works. Councils Parks & Gardens team apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.

03.01.2022 The new restrictions in place from midnight tonight for wearing masks is not applicable to those in the Shellharbour region. However, if you are travelling to Wollongong, Greater Sydney or Central Coast, you will be required to wear a mask while in those areas. Face masks will be mandatory in the following indoor settings: shopping (retail, supermarkets and shopping centres) public/shared transport, indoor entertainment (including cinemas and theatres)... places of worship hair and beauty premises. Face masks will also be mandatory for all staff in hospitality venues and casinos and for patrons using gaming services. Compliance will start from Monday, 4 January 2021 with $200 on the spot fines for individuals for non-compliance. Children under 12 are exempt but are encouraged to wear masks where practicable.
