21.01.2022 I owe some massive thank-yous for all of the help that I received this past week. I had lots of lovely people come to the school and help me organise and pack up clothing for the market on Tuesday. Then, at the market- I had numerous people step in to help me selling the clothes. It was so busy! I hope that everyone is happy with their new clothes and toys. So, THANK YOU to all that helped out!



13.01.2022 We are trying to reduce plastic by asking ALPA for paper bags. *bring your own bag, get one free item of clothing I also hope that by wearing previously-loved clothing, we are helping reduce clothing waste. ... Any other ideas on how the op-shop can be better for the climate, please do share!

05.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS! Op Shop Open Wednesday afternoon, after lunch EXCITING NEWS! ... Almost Everything $2.00 EXCITING NEWS! The Op Shop has 5 pallets of clothing coming from Melbourne. A HUGE Thank you to everyone at Overnewton Anglican Community College for donating, packing, and sending up so many beautiful things for the shop. We appreciate you all. ^^^^^^^ To make room for all of the new clothing, the Op-Shop will be offering ALL clothing for sale for $2.00. On WEDNESDAY, before the Shepherdson College graduation ceremony. Yapa skirts are back! Rachel Baker with her company Elcho Clothing Co., has sent over more skirts, in great prints, in more sizes. We now have Large (L), Extra Large (XL), and Extra-Extra Large (XXL). They were a huge hit at the night market, so please come early and with cash ready if you want one. Earrings are in! What a great Christmas present! Remember: Cash Only No giving me clothing to save for yalala. If someone has money, they can buy it. Can't wait to see everyone there! Tell your friends and family!

04.01.2022 MARKAPMIRR to bukmak that helped me with yindi djama yesterday. Getting ready for the big market on: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19th after blood-returning ceremony. ALPA will be giving out $$$ yindi rupiah to spend at the market.... 6 o'clock start, beside council and top shop. See you all there!

03.01.2022 YO - YO - YO - YO - YO!!!!!!!!!!I am back from visiting my family in Canada, and I have lots of exciting Op-Shop News!...Big Changes are coming.... Overnewton College in Melbourne is currently collecting things to send up to us, which will hopefully arrive in about a month. To make room for all of the new clothing, we will be having a massive sale at the upcoming NOV 19 market. I want to clear out as any clothes as possible, to make room for the new clothes. I need help with this ^^^^^^^I also need help organising the op-shop. After every time that it is open, there is yindi mess and yindi djama to clean up. I don't know the best way to keep things in order. I know that everyone that comes to the op-shop is very smart, so I am excited to hear your ideas!Please come help me at the op-shop. They will be sold at the market on Nov. 19th. It is so good to be able to support a strong woman from the community. Manymak. So, in summary,op-shop will be at the market on NOV. 19 in one weekand then..maybe one more big sale dayand then... the op-shop will be undergoing a big makeover. Over the Christmas holiday I hope to redesign the space and fill it with new things! yay. This will take a lot of work, so help is very appreciated.
