30.04.2022 **IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT** Good morning to all members and supporters, I have the unfortunate task to deliver some very disappointing news in relation to our s...tanding for the Federal Election 2022. Given that I am party president it is important that I continue to remain honest and transparent keeping everyone in the loop to what has transpired since August 2020. This is regarding the rammed through legislation the government recently passed with the new amendments changing the Australian Electoral Commission rules for re registering a political party. This bill was known as the Electoral Legislation Amendment Party Registration Integrity Bill 2021. These amendments were initiated by the Liberal Party and of course supported by Labor and the Greens. Their objective was and is to knock out as many minor political parties as they can, so that they can maintain absolute power. We did re register the party successfully in March 2020, however, due to the new legislation and time constraints forced upon us, we are devastated to report that we will not be running in the Federal Election 2022. However, we will not dissolve the party either (LOL they are not getting rid of me that easy). We plan to go to battle using a different attack, that is we will start by going State to State and registering the party in every State and Territory. I have almost completed the registration process for the QLD State election. We have our Love Australia or Leave party representative in Victoria Siobhann Brown who has been inundated by Victorian members to get the Love Australia or Leave Party registered for the Victorian State election.
