24.01.2022 Today was all about our history and Heritage. We acknowledge those who come before us and we learn from them through their stories, song and art. We spent time reflecting on our own heritage as well as others today. Check out Jasmin as she summarises what we learnt today. 24.01.2022 We had so much fun on our Science day out at Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre with all of the girls from Sisters who SHINE. Here is a little snippet from our morning program. a great big thank you to all those who made it possible. Especially the Rotary Club of Albury NSW for their generous donation. 22.01.2022 Now that we have reached the conclusion of our first Sisters who SHINE program I would like to thank the Rotary Club of Albury NSW and all those who have donated on Facebook to make this possible. 22.01.2022 Rain hail or SHINE We will be here at Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre empowering young girls, whatever the weather

20.01.2022 We were recently asked what our special shirts were for our holiday program. Each shirt was designed by one of the girls and had their favourite thing about themselves. They then wore them with pride on Empowerment day. It is vital that we reflect on our strengths and continue to grow and learn throughout our lives. These girls did a great job empowering themselves and those around them.

19.01.2022 Nature day came out SHINING today! Between learning about waterbugs and healthy dams with Kathie from Sustainable Farms to orienteering and talking about protecting endangered animals, we really developed everyone's enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors. 18.01.2022 When I started Sisters who SHINE I thought science was boring and was only for boys, but now I think science is really fun and for everyone. I feel more confident now and I feel ok being myself. Our first morning program is finished. These girls all did so well and we are extremely proud of their growth and all that they achieved.
