24.01.2022 COME AND HEAR LIVE MUSIC AGAIN! A concert of early music featuring a number of our choristers will be presented at St Andrew’s Cathedral on Saturday 7 November at 7pm. All works will be performed one voice per part. Music includes Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich (Bach’s earliest known cantata), Jesu Meine Freude (Bach), Derr Herr ist mit mir (Buxtehude), Miserere (Allegri), Lamentations of Jeremiah (Tallis), When David Heard (Tomkins) and a number of Gabrieli motets with brass. 20.01.2022 Important Notice about Choral Evensong: Due to new Government physical distancing restrictions, Choral Evensong for 1 April will not be live-streamed this evening. We apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment. The Choral Evensongs for 18 and 25 March will remain on the St James' website at sjks.org.au/church/online-services/ and on the St James' Church Facebook page for you to re-watch. Information about the 10am service for Palm Sunday will be distributed as soon as it is finalised.
