16.01.2022 Wondering how to find and access SCEG? We have detailed directions on our website (under Contact Us tab), and this picture sums up our mountain side location in a nutshell! Park your car in the 15 minute unload zone, then its a short walk up the hill to SCEG, where the warm open fireplace is waiting! Remember to move your car to overnight parking once unpacked to avoid a fine (parking in a designated overnight parking area is included in your Mount Hotham Resort Entry fee)

09.01.2022 Hi Hotham fans, Normally, about now, we’d be starting to share our excitement with you about the countdown to the start of the snow season. Unfortunately, curr...ent events mean things are far from normal. We are grappling with what the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation means for Hotham, for our staff, for our stakeholders and guests. We know people are concerned, businesses everywhere are already hurting, and we are not clear on what this means for the 2020 season. One of our priorities is the health and safety of our staff. Mount Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board (MHARMB) staff are now working remotely where possible, and we only have essential services staff on the mountain. Our main phone line has been diverted to a mobile, which means your calls will be answered, but there is only one person on the other end now, not our full team. If you have to leave a message, please be patient and allow time for your message to be responded to. We also prioritise the health and safety of our guests, and as such urge everyone to follow the advice and directions from the government health authorities at all times. MHARMB has been tasked with scenario planning to scope how a delayed season might operate or, worst case, if we are directed to not open at all. There are many elements to consider and this is taking a considerable amount of time, checking that all things have been taken into account and thinking creatively to keep our mountain sustainable. This includes considering the impact that any of these scenarios will also have on our stakeholders and their profitability. We ask for your patience and understanding in these circumstances. Please keep in mind that our staff may not be in a position to immediately answer your questions. They love Hotham as much as you do, they understand your concerns and will give you answers as soon as they are able. We will be in touch again as soon as we have something to share with you. Stay safe, be kind; we are Australia’s highest alpine village with the most down-to-earth people, and we will get through this.
