24.01.2022 I did some balloon twisting at the Live Your Potential expo which was lots of information for people with disabilities. One person asked me to make a black dog and I said I’d bring it over to her when I’d finished it. Went over to give it to her and there was this gorgeous girl sitting there very quietly Then in the afternoon a sweet little Cavelier was being trained to walk with a wheelchair...my eyes started to sting watching her, she looked so proud doing her job Just beautiful!

20.01.2022 At the beginning of this year I started it just like last year, slowly gathering ideas and designs for each of the Western Australian So Brave Ambassadors I would be painting for the 2021 Calendar. Covid hit and it looked like we were going to have to postpone the paint days for a little while...then reality hit, no paints for this year at all. Then in May we received the devastating news that one of the Western Australian ambassadors had passed away from her battles with can...cer. I decided to paint a canvas for her family with a similar style that I had chosen to paint on her for the calendar. This is the painting I did for Belinda’s family. The painting is in the 2021 special edition So Brave calendar and has now been used as a design for these sun shirts.
