25.01.2022 Throwback Thursday After signing off another project with @cbdcontracting we have been reminiscing on some of the other projects we have worked on with them. This Brighton home is definitely a highlight, it's not every day you work on a home that has a car lift to lower cars into the basement (checkout the third photo). We were contracted to complete: ... - All basement drainage including basement pumping stations. - A commercial HWS to service a three level dwelling of this size. - Connection of a concrete below ground rainwater tank and associated lines. - Connection of services & a steam generator for a sauna in the basement. - Pool plumbing services including gas heating. - Connection of a custom stainless steel integrated BBQ. - Rough in and fit off of all plumbing throughout. @cbdcontracting won the 2018 Master Builder of the Year award for the best custom house over $2M for this project. So when we say we love working with the best in the business, they really are!

24.01.2022 A complete roof renewal We have just finished this complete roof renewal for a project in South Yarra with the team at @lvlgroupaus . We have been working with the PM @deantuckey for the last 6 months on this beautiful 3 story dwelling. ... We installed all new roof sheets, flashings, down pipes and gutters. A massive plug to SLRs leading hand @ryyjames who oversaw the entire project. We will post a before & after shortly so you can see just how epic this project & home is!

18.01.2022 Monday funday Throwing it back to our last day on site for our project at the Royal Exhibition Building. It was all laughs as we signed off nearly 2 years of works Our contracted works included:... - New basement amenities blocks beneath the heritage building - Services running up 4 floors through the original heritage structure to a new rooftop viewing deck - All below ground drainage - A new DCW water tapping connecting to a DN100 service in the basement corridor - A low gradient drain flushing device designed and installed by SLR - a Below Ground alarmed pumping station - HWS with twin circulating pumps - Installation of a rainwater water service which is also running through the basement corridor connecting to WC cisterns - services installed and ready for connection for future works Swipe across for some pictures of the finished product Note - photos were taken before face coverings were mandatory

18.01.2022 THROWBACK TUESDAY- Two townhouse development in Glen Iris which we were contracted to complete all civil plumbing including the construction of retention pipework & pits, all below ground plumbing, all above ground plumbing, install heat pump type hot water services, install a hot water ring main and circulating pump and install above ground rainwater tanks including the boxing and pouring of the concrete tank bases. 17.01.2022 RAINWATER TANKS Installation of 2 x rainwater tanks for our project with @cbdcontracting in Fitzroy North. Why use rainwater tanks: Using rainwater tanks can reduce water bills by providing an alternative supply during water restrictions by utilising rainwater for WC flushing and irrigation. Rainwater harvesting also decreases stormwater runoff which can help local flooding. We also think they look pretty slick!

08.01.2022 THROWBACK THURSDAY A neat new roof we completed at Bells Hotel South Melbourne in 2018! The bar purchased a storage factory at the rear and renovated it into a function space. We supplied and installed a new roof over the space that consisted of new box gutters with overflow provisions to meet current plumbing standards, an above ground stormwater and overflow drain servicing the box gutters and new roof sheets including fibreglass sheets at regular intervals to allow l...ight into the space below. We also replaced all surrounding flashings. The finished product speaks for itself!

06.01.2022 The final product of our roofing project in Prahran We were contracted to complete a roof renewal on the entire roof on this beautiful Prahran home. This included replacing all roof sheets, flashings, downpipes and gutters on the main roof. And the installation of new curved roof sheets to the heritage detail on the front verandah....
