24.01.2022 Exciting finish to the Winter 2020 competition at WLC for B Grade. The Bronze Medal Volleyrigs defeated Ghostbusters 2-0 (25-13,29-27)... The Gold Medal Cheap N Easy defeated No Worries in a marathon game that could have gone either way 3-2 (22-25, 25-23, 27-25, 15-25, 20-18). Final result for B Grade was: 1st = Cheap N Easy 2nd = No Worries 3rd = Volleyrigs Congratulations to our winners Cheap N Easy! MVP for this competition was Joseph Whyte from Avengerz.

21.01.2022 Draws for WLC A1 & B2 Spring are now online! In order to allow as many people as possible the opportunity to play and make the best use of the available court time as well as stay within the Covid number restrictions; the draw is a previously used but unusual structure as B grade is using one of the Court 1 time slots. As always please make sure you follow the Covid protocol to arrive / play / leave. Arrive on time, not early. Leave the venue by the designated exit immediate...ly after your game with just the captain remaining to sign the score sheet. Please remind your team of the need to stay 1.5m away from each other whenever possible; it is a requirement of the venue and our own Covid safety plan. Whilst this might seem a little crazy when you are playing on a team together, it is these additional precautions which allow playing the game to be possible by minimising the risk. Other key points in being Covid safe Bring full drink bottles as water is not available BYO whistle as we are not currently selling them; please use hands instead of flags for lines Wipe down the scoring table, balls and ref stand between games No sharing of any personal items, no food or drink other than water No spectators, sorry No high fives, hand slaps, handshakes, hugs It is exciting to be back for another season, lets hope NSW can maintain control of our Covid numbers so everyone can continue. http://www.snv.org.au//uplo/2020/09/2020_Spring_B2_WLC.pdf

However, Volleyball NSW strongly recommends people wear a mask when waiting in line to enter ...the venue as there may be times you are unable to physically distance. When entering, if there is a queue please ensure that you are 1.5m away from the person in front of you or take a moment to wait before approaching the entry doors as this will reduce the congestion. 08.01.2022 Willoughby SNV A1 Monday-night: An epic 5-set marathon Gold Medal Final between Shabangabang & Macquarie, saw us reach full-time at 11.00pm during the 5th set, so the game was decided by an overall points count back. Congrats to Shabangabangs on taking the Gold & to Macquarie for their Silver win. Bronze was won by Redbacks after defeating Deadships in the previous final. Thanks to all of our teams at SNV Willoughby for complying with our new Covid-Safety Rules & for allowing us to continue playing the sport we love in a safe environment.
