10.01.2022 We’ve secured clean energy for NSW! The Upper House debated all Tuesday and through the night, then all Wednesday, finally defeating the Shooters and One Nation... last night and securing safe, renewable energy for the state. This was worth the fight- If humans and animals are going to continue to survive the present climate crisis, big investment in these kinds of clean solutions is critical. It’s not often we work to support the Government, but this legislation was long overdue. Congratulations Matt Kean MP. All I can say is thank goodness for coffee (and animal sanctuary keep cups). What a way to end our Parliamentary sitting weeks. To recap our last few weeks we: *Passed new laws to protect animals from domestic and family violence *Blocked the Koala Killing Bill *Passed renewable energy to help our climate crisis #Winning #WorthNotSleeping
