16.01.2022 On the way. "Nelson Point" line handling vessel departing the workshops of Dongara Marine Pty Ltd. to begin its 1400km road trip to its new home base of Port Hedland, Western Australia. Jetwave Marine Services will be putting the new vessel immediately to work to provide line handling support, light cargo handling and crew transfers in the busiest bulk cargo port in Australia. Designed boy Southerly Designs, "Nelson Point" provides a high level of capability in an 8.5m package.

14.01.2022 Next launching for Southerly Designs. Finishing off the recent run of locally built boats (3 launchings in 3 months) is this 16m twin jet boat by Xtreme Marine. Another addition to the Geraldton cray fishing fleet. Jet propulsion and armoured bottom built specifically for operating around the shallow reefs of the Abrolhos Islands. Powered by twin Scania DI13 and Hamilton HJ 403 jet's she is bound to be an impressive performer at sea trials.
