23.01.2022 Digitech - 12B - 3D Printing This term’s unit of work has focused on design and 3D printing. The children have used 3D software to turn their ideas for a new bubble blower into reality. This week the children have tested and reflected on their designs. The children are very proud of their designs and how they designed and made their own bubble wands. Children’s reflections:... What worked well: The whole bubble blower worked awesome. Logan S The handle worked well. Noah My bubble blower blew great bubbles. - Josiah The bubble mixture stayed in the holes. I could blow some bubbles. Zahra The handles worked well even though they were small. Ariana What changes would you make? I would make bigger holes as mine were too small. - Ariana I would change my handle because it hurts my hand because of the corners. - Sasha I would make a circle so I can blow straight Riley I would take the star away and make the holes bigger because I couldn’t blow bubbles. Emily Bigger holes and as it might make more bubbles. A bigger handle because my hand had trouble holding on. Zahra I would take the middle out of my bubble blower as it stopped the bubbles from forming. - Memphis
