11.01.2022 Our beautiful rocket stands back in the office after a long journey to the launch range. Unfortunately, we weren't able to fly this weekend due to legal aspects. The journey to lift off is a challenging goal. Fingers crossed for our next mission.
11.01.2022 This year marks our second year of operating. We have seen and experienced alot over this period. We remain dedicated to the mission of ensuring access to space but also enabling the future human spaceflight journey. Launch is the first step to every successful space mission.
10.01.2022 The #microbit based #picosat is almost ready to be deployed to students and individuals keen to learn about satellite systems but also as a science platform. We would like to thank the Space Industry Association of Australia for support and also local maker expert Roy from The Trophy Store for helping our journey to develop this new educational satellite platform. When we started our journey to develop launch vehicles, our target was the nanosatellite market. But to our surpr...ise, there was limited tools to help teach the ideas and concepts of satellite systems to students and too the public without getting too technical. There wasn't a platform to educate individuals about satellite systems whilst on the ground cheaply. So we designed one ourselves. Simple to assemble, limited coding knowledge required thanks to the Microbit programming environment and most importantly, without breaking the budget with existing cubesat components. This is our first iteration to teach space satellite systems from children to adults. We have also designed ready made science payloads for streamlined class activities but also have available prototyping panels to allow individuals to build more advanced systems and science missions, all in a small footprint.
