25.01.2022 Recent changeover installation from another brand to the latest Panasonic R32 Inverter system MAX THAT FAN SPEED - For optimum efficiency during this crazy hot weather, always run your system on the highest fan speed.. which pumps the most airflow and greatest energy transfer to the room. If after a while it feels too cold.. increase the setpoint on the remote a degree or two. The fan costs very little to run, whereas the compressor costs lots.. So when the system is cranke...d on 18deg, low fan.. its costing lots to run, but only dribbling a small amount of cooling energy to the room. Low fan speed is also a recipe for mould growth in the indoor unit, which when bad enough can fill the blades in the barrel fan, making it massively inefficient. It goes without saying to check your filters every couple of months.. if the room is carpeted/you run the AC every day, check them more often. See more

16.01.2022 Check this out thanks to our friends at The Cooling Company - Ipswich Theres a huge difference between the FULL REFRIGERATION & AIRCONDITIONING RAC LICENCE (4 year apprenticeship) and the secondary one available to electricians and other trades the RESTRICTED HEAT PUMP & SPLIT SYSTEM LICENCE (a two day course). Most notably a restricted licence holder 1) they can not provide SERVICE, REPAIR, or MAINTENANCE to ANY split system air conditioner, 2) they can not install any mult...i headed split unit, 3) they can not work with any split system over 18kw. Therefore if your unit was to breakdown within the manufacturers warranty period they can not legally provide the repairs, services or maintenance. The Cooling Company however has a FULL licence which means piece of mind that all repairs, servicing and maintenance within the warranty period and after can be undertaken by our experience tradesmen.
