25.01.2022 We decided to bring the big smoker to work today @clunesauto as we prepare for the BBQ extravaganza with Modanville Takeaway this Saturday. It's nice to have the BBQ War Rig out for a few days. All this Covid Malarkey is making it feel a bit neglected.



25.01.2022 Well crew unfortunately have had a car drama this morning and will be unable to run our food van at Clunes Auto Centre this week. Don't worry though because we will be back next week slinging the BBQ goodies you love.

23.01.2022 Well crew festival season is back upon us and in the blink of an eye our weekend bookings are filling up. Unfortunately this means our The Burning Tyre BBQ Street Food stall at Clunes Auto Centre will be reduced to Thursdays and Fridays. But fear not as daylight savings approaches we will be looking at extended hours.

17.01.2022 So here's how a pro spend a 40 degree day. First you mix up a bowl of icey mixed berry sangria, then you fire up the char grill with some mesquite and slowly cook a couple of kg of wings lathered in the new uber hot glaze. While that's doing its thing char grill some corn for the fresh salad and jalapenos for munching. Whip up a Dijon and white truffle dressing and some chimmichurri, throw it all together with some lime wedges and tunes......BOOM!!! You just landed in flavourtown. Population: You

15.01.2022 Today at The Burning Tyre we are getting all nostalgic and serving the dish that defined the way we cook......Puerco Pabil! What is Puerco Pabil?... Also known as Cochinta Pabil this slow cooked pork dish has its roots deep in Mayan culture. Using a unique spice blend called Achiote and cooked for 24hrs in a mix of orange, lemon and lime juices as well as a good splash of Mezcal this dish had such an effect on us we have never looked at cooking the same again. Come on down to @clunesauto and let us blow your mind. $15 a go

14.01.2022 Today we are off to the beautiful country town of Rappville serving up the goods at the pub. There's no reception out there so if you feel like getting away from it all for the day jump in the car and come pay us a visit.

07.01.2022 We would just like to take a minute to thank our suppliers, customers, followers and supporters. Running a small business is an incredible feat at the best of times but the last 2 years have been a bit of a nightmare. From drought to bushfires to pandemic we, as a community, have been through a helluva lot together. Our supply chains, local farmers, logistics companies and customers have been pushed to breaking point time and time again and it doesn't seem to be letting u...p any time soon. We are all exhausted but continue to push on each day regardless of the odds and obstacles. Ironically in a time where we are forced to social distance we have come closer together. When we speak to one another we can see in each other's eyes, hear it in our voices and feel it in our souls how truly fatigued we all are. Uncertainties keep chipping away at our mental health causing all sorts of problems on top of what we are already going through. I feel that the hardest hit are our entertainers. An industry that dedicates their lives to making us happy. Seeing so many of you out of work is heartbreaking to say the least. We miss being apart of the magic you share with the world. The Chile Banditos would just like to thank everyone who has been there and no matter what life continues to throw at us......the fire will continue to burn.
