24.01.2022 We would like to congratulate Dr Dinesh Palipana for more than earning the title of 'Australian of the Year'. We recognize you and all you do. Your achievements... forging the pathway for all people with disability to achieve their goals. Working hard to break down the unethical barriers put in place by employers that discriminate against people with spinal cord injuries. Fighting for the right to career progression no matter the field of work. Hopefully others will take the fine example you have set and use your experience to dismantle societal barriers for people with disability. Read the news story article from 9News here

20.01.2022 To say that this year is stressful would be an understatement. While life can throw us all sorts of curveballs, it’s important to know how to de-stress when things start to feel overwhelming. One useful technique we love here at Spinal Home Help to help manage stress is the 5-4-3-2-1 Mindfulness technique What is that, you ask? It’s simple and can be done anywhere!... When you notice yourself feeling stressed and overwhelmed simply stop what you’re doing and take note of: 5 things you can see 4 things you can feel 3 things you can hear 2 things you can smell 1 thing you can taste This is a great way to re-focus your mind and become present Even if you’re not feeling stressed, give it a go!
