Our reliance on GPS when on the road has never been greater, and extends from everyday... drivers to emergency services and transportation companies. Until now, ‘repeater’ devices that transmit navigational signals in road tunnels have been banned, as they can cause interference if not used properly. However, the ACMA has just updated the laws to allow for controlled trials of the devices in Sydney and Melbourne road tunnels.
