13.01.2022 B R E A S T F E E D I N G Firstly I want to say that there is no right or wrong way to feed your baby. Whether its breastfeeding or bottlefeeding, whatever works for you is best. I breastfed Tyler for 3 weeks then he went to formula. I did struggle with him latching on and I look back now I'm pretty sure I got mastitis. Not knowing much about breastfeeding I was upset and Tyler was, the decision was made to put him on formula. Which was probably the right decision at ...that time. That's what ended up working for us. Now Sophie is a month old and I'm still breastfeeding, things are going well with her, I'm much more relaxed and having the support from my midwife who is also a lactation consultant has really helped. I'm happy we have made it to a month, now it's just literally go with the flow See more

03.01.2022 Thank god for essential oils! A great non toxic blend for your tender and sore ta-tas after breastfeeding or pumping.

01.01.2022 The last few days have been exhausting, poor Sophie has been so unsettled having to deal with a colicky baby with tummy pains she wouldn't lay on her back. Then I got so run down with her not sleeping properly i couldn't keep my eyes open only waking to feed her and top it off with migraines the last couple of days struggling to get off the lounge. Oh and a 4 year old who just doesn't listen! ... Thank god for having a great partner that has helped me through. Feeling better now and Sophie seems to have settled a bit too, just taking it as it comes. . . I finally felt good enough to get out and we went to the races yesterday. How cute are these two.
