24.01.2022 Ever wondered what a beehive sounds like up close or what the bee lols like coming and going from their hive. This morning while I enjoying the usual watching the bees, I thought you may enjoy it too. Bees coming back with their pollen sacks full some with nectar, bees greeting other bees as they arrive.

17.01.2022 Loving how the bees go around in the flower collecting pollen. When bees are visiting flowers they could be collecting pollen or nectar. Nectar makes the honey.

16.01.2022 We had a call out for a beehive in a tree on a footpath. Look at the size of it and all out in the open. We were able to relocate it into a box and moved to a safer location (for both bees and people)

08.01.2022 This young beekeeper was up at 5am to help me move some beehives to a new location. Some heavy lifting and a sting to the hand, appreciate his help and love of bees too.

08.01.2022 It’s that time of year where our lips and skin are drying out. Our lipbalms made from beeswax and organic coconut oil are loved by many of our customers@ $3.50ea. - A customer even asked for it in a larger container, as they had been using on their eczema with great success. So we now have a larger 65ml glass jar for $10. We also have our face cream in the 65ml glass jar for $10 made from beeswax, macadamia oil, sweet almond oil and coconut oil.

07.01.2022 Unfortunately beeswax imported into Australia is often not pure or 100% beeswax. If your buying beeswax for whatever reason, please make sure your buying Australian. We make our own foundation (the sheet of beeswax in frame the bees build comb and honey onto) from our own beeswax that way we know that what we are using in our hives is 100% clean and pure. 03.01.2022 As many of you already know we are out of honey During winter the bees don’t produce as much honey. Also we are coming out of a bad 12-18mths there just isn’t enough. Good news I can smell delicious honey when walking around the hives so they are bringing it in. I’ll make sure I post up when we have honey available again. You can still purchase lipbalms, beeswax wraps, candles and face cream from our honesty box. Thank you all for your continued support
