24.01.2022 In James 1:12-5, he writes: "Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking." NLT On Sunday we explored how that we as C...hildren of God, can have joy in suffering. In circumstances when it seems impossible to do so. Do the study: www.desiringgod.org/s/jesus-and-the-journey-to-joy/articles

23.01.2022 Dates for next 2 Rosedale Church Services... Feb 16 April 19

22.01.2022 There’s no sequence there. In this you rejoice, though you are grieved are simultaneous experiences. That’s the nature of the Christian life. Second Corinthians 6:10 simply says, Sorrowful, yet always rejoicing. These are simultaneous events for followers of Jesus. Therefore, when sorrows break over our lives as Christians, which they do and will regularly under our Father’s providential and disciplinary care, our joy does not die.

21.01.2022 A CALL TO JOY: Let me leave you with this personal exhortation from Philippians. Receive it as though the inspired apostle Paul, and even Christ himself, is speaking it to you ~ 19/01/2020 Church Service.

21.01.2022 IN LOVING MEMORY Mr Adrian Iles 23/02/1958 - 03/04/2020 His joy-filled infectious personality impacted everyone who had the privilege of meeting him. He was bo...ld yet sensitive. Passionate and accepting. Loving and protective. Generous and kind. In 28 years of serving in education, 2 years as Head of Primary at BCC during 2006 - 2008, he demonstrated that "the joy of the Lord, really is [his] strength". Adrian led the Primary School with quiet humility, building up both colleagues, parents and students through his personal faith example. He leaves behind an enduring legacy of a life lived with integrity and purpose.

19.01.2022 PRAYER REQUEST: Please continue to pray for our Ps Adrian Iles, as he undergoes treatment in Brisbane, fighting this illness. God continues to be true to His word. Pray for strength, healing and blessing, and please stay in touch. Your words of encouragement make all the difference.

18.01.2022 Last Sunday Church Service we were warned about the dangers of staying in our "cave": of despondency, grief and hopelessness. We were encouraged to 'speak out' our breakthrough in His Name...to come out of our "cave". ~ Church Service 16/02/2020

18.01.2022 Adrian was born on the 23rd February 1958 to Arthur & Ada Doreen Iles in Brisbane, Qld. He was the youngest of four children with Geoffrey, Paul & Elizabeth the 3rd child and only daughter. Ever since the age of 10, Adrian would visit his friend Paul at his home, where he met a young lady by the name of Narelle. Obviously, this was Paul’s sister and as the story goes on, they struck a friendship and began courting in their late teens....Continue reading

17.01.2022 So, what is the secret? I have learned the secret of being abased (humiliated) and hungering and going without and I have learned the secret of abundance and prosperity. The secret is faith in God’s sovereignty and in the sweetness of Christ: knowing Christ right now, experiencing fellowship with Him right now, is more precious, more satisfying, more sweet than anything else. 17.01.2022 If it’s true that God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him, Philippians 1:2021, then joy or satisfaction in God is a mandate. It’s not optional. "For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die. For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better."

14.01.2022 They [the disciples] head out into full time ministry, one by one, with this helper this empowering that the world and God's people had never experienced before. Their lives weren't easy, full of persecution from their own people. But their trust in the sustaining power and presence of God, was always with them. ~ Church Service 16/02/2020

13.01.2022 As many of you now know, on Friday 3 April, our dearly loved Pastor Adrian Iles, slipped away peacefully into the presence of His Lord. Words cannot begin to describe the sadness and loss we feel as a community. He was too young, too passionate and too gifted to leave this earth without some dent. His infectious personality impacted all of us who had the privilege of doing life with him. He was bold yet sensitive. Passionate and accepting. Loving and kind. Generous and protec...tive of those whom he loved most. Given the current restrictions, a private funeral will be held later this week, with immediate family only. Once life returns to normal again, we hope to hold a 'Celebration Service', at Rosedale Church, in honour of our loving Pastor, with all those he loved and served. The family would like to sincerely thank all those who sent, and continue to send, flowers, cards and messages of support, love and prayers. We miss him dearly, but are comforted by the truth, that he is now with the Lord whom he loved so deeply.

13.01.2022 "Speak out the breakthrough that is available through Jesus, be led by the Spirit as [you] call people out...Pray out loud and let the Lord move and work...." Church Service 16/02/2020 with Thomas N Alita Iles

12.01.2022 The supremacy of the sovereignty of God in Christ, is an essential part of the secret that enables you to enjoy contentment in every circumstance. You know He is in charge of every circumstance and He is going to cause every circumstance to turn for His glory and for your good and your ultimate joy in the end. 11.01.2022 3 John The Message (MSG) 1-4 The Pastor, to my good friend Gaius: How truly I love you! We’re the best of friends, and I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good healththat your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul! I was most happy when some friends arrived and brought the news that you persist in following the way of Truth.... Nothing could make me happier than getting reports that my children continue diligently in the way of Truth

11.01.2022 In looking at 'JOY' we sought to define it first. Last Sunday, in considering the command of God to 'rejoice', we defined joy as: Christian joy is a good feeling in the soul, produced by the Holy Spirit, as He causes us to see the beauty of Christ in the Word and in the World.

09.01.2022 "They [the disciples] watched His crucifixion, the unjust trial, the whipping and the scourging. All of these events had significant impact on these men, the One whom they love, was been treated awfully/ Yet they began to understand the will of the Father and the love of their Saviour. Their complete trust in Jesus continued to grow, as they were filled and baptised with the Holy Spirit in Acts 1" ~ Church Service 16/02/2020... Due to treatment, Ps Adrian and Narelle Iles are in Brisbane until early in the week. So no service today.

09.01.2022 We've been sifting through the historic records of our little church. How beautiful the story of 97 years reads. Who knew the church was previously bordered by fences. This one is from 1935!
