16.01.2022 Good News! - The multi-user track will open at 3pm this afternoon. The works crews have been working flat out to get this track ready for the long weekend so residents and visitors alike can make the most of it. We look forward to seeing it in action

14.01.2022 Tomorrow is the day people! We can’t wait to welcome you all back to The Surfside. We have been working hard to get the place as ready as can be for our openi...ng, but if you visit us over the weekend please remember we have just opened and may need to smooth out a few kinks. Please be patient as we get through the first few days. We will open the doors from 3pm Friday, last drinks will be at 10.30pm. We will sizzle some free sausages to feed the crew through the evening. We plan to be open this Friday night, and then from 12noon - 10pm on Saturday and Sunday, slinging burgers from 12noon - 8pm. We will then close Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday to take a breath and see what we need to improve on, before opening from 12noon on Thursday and every day until the end of school holidays. We have one washing machine available for animal blankets. Please respect other customers and only wash animal bedding in the washing machine located on the left hand wall of the laundromat. 07.01.2022 GEORGES BAY MULTI-USER TRACK EXTENSION UPDATE No doubt you will have noticed the works for this project progressing pretty quickly around Georges Bay. We now ...have the pylons in place (thanks to the community for your patience with traffic delays while this was undertaken) and this week, we will be lifting the elevated walkway in to place. This will be done around 9am on Wednesday morning if you want to check it out. There will be traffic management in place while this is done which could cause 15 minute delays. (We appreciate your ongoing patience with this!) Below is a pic of the walkway ready to be installed out at local boat builder Lyndcraft’s workshed.
