20.01.2022 Get ready for beach volleyball season

19.01.2022 Hi All. Sand Sports is keen to get their social comp up and running next week (which would mean that we can open the venue again). They are looking for teams (pairs and fours) to play in their Thursday night comp, so if you're keen to get back into beach volleyball this could be a great option for you. If you are interested, give Chana a call on 0401 855 440. Unfortunately, if they can't get enough teams to start up the comp we may have to wait a little longer. Marty.

17.01.2022 Our happy place is finally BACK!

17.01.2022 Players over 30 - keep January 24th free!

17.01.2022 Volleyball WA and the VWA Beach Committee are starting to plan the 2020/2021 Alcohol. Think Again Beach Tour and we need your help! We’ve put together a quick 5-10 minute survey and are aiming to get as many responses as we can from our WA beach volleyball community. Our goal is to consistently provide a beach tour that the players enjoy, so your feedback is very valuable to us. Here is the link to the survey: https://bit.ly/ATABT_Survey

13.01.2022 END OF YEAR MEMBERSHIP SPECIAL!!! Starting now, a senior membership for the rest of 2020 is only $50, and a junior membership is only $30. Please note - this DOES NOT include VWA Gold membership, so you will have to sort that out yourself if you aren't already a VWA member. Go to our website for more details on how to get your membership sorted out. https://www.westcoastbeachvolleyballclub.com.au/

11.01.2022 Hi All. Sorry but I've been informed by Sandsports that the opening day for the North Beach venue will now be Thursday May 28th - not Monday May 25th as they originally stated. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it's out of the club's control. So there won't be any drop-in games on Tuesday night the 26th. Sorry again!

10.01.2022 Yep, we had lots of fun and enjoyed the day . More to come soon.

09.01.2022 Stay in bed! Because of the crap weather there will be no social volleyball at North Beach today (Sunday Sept 20).

06.01.2022 Have you registered yet!

06.01.2022 May 25!!!!!!! Yep, finally 'Sting Beach' will be back in business from Monday May 25. There will be four courts in operation at our North Beach venue, and the Tuesday night and Sunday morning social drop-in sessions will start up again. Obviously, the usual precautions will apply and we expect all players to behave responsibly in terms of non-contact and social distancing. A big thanks to everyone for your patience during these difficult times - we truly appreciate it. See you on the sand next week!

05.01.2022 The good news is that the courts have been levelled and look great. The bad news is that it’s raining (a lot) so there will be no Social Drop-in this morning. Go back to bed!

05.01.2022 More pictures from Sunday’s Club championship .

02.01.2022 Hi All. Just a quick update about what's happening with the "Sting Beach" venue. WCBVC leases the venue from Sandsports, who have a lease with the North Beach Bowling Club. The Sandsports lease is on hold because of the COVID-19 stuff, which means that the venue is closed. Sandsports needs the income from their Thursday night social competition to pay for their lease, so they can't re-start the payments until the government restrictions allow social sport to start up again. In the meantime, we can't use the venue because it is not being paid for. Hopefully this won't be for too much longer. Marty.

01.01.2022 End of Summer Mixed pairs tournament memory. Can you believe this happened less than three weeks ago ? Take care and stay safe!
