15.01.2022 Kindergarten Blue News! We have had a wonderful start to Term 3 this week in Kindergarten Blue. We are all happy to be back at school with our friends and teachers and are all ready to learn! In English, we have been reading We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosin. We are learning how to identify details in the illustrations. We even had our own bear hunt this week. We used our iPads to read QR codes in search of the brown bear. We were very excited when we finally foun...d him! In Religion, we are learning about the Bible and are listening to stories from the Old Testament. We understand that God is with us always and that He created us. We are looking forward to learning about God’s Creation in the coming weeks. In Geography, we are talking about where we live and why we need shelter. We can identify constructed, natural and managed environments. We used Google Earth to locate our school. It is very busy, as always, in Kindergarten Blue! See more

14.01.2022 Teddy Bear's Picnic This week in Kindergarten we celebrated our learning around the book 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' by hosting a Teddy Bear's Picnic. The children brought in their favourite Teddy and enjoyed their morning tea. We even watched the movie "We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. It was a fun-filled day! Kindergarten Teachers

12.01.2022 Mrs Janet Miller The St Mary's Catholic School Community has been saddened by the loss of our friend and colleague, Mrs Janet Miller. Janet was a teacher. She devoted over thirty years to the nurturing and the education of young people. She encouraged her students to love learning and to explore new ways of thinking and doing. Her students were her focus. Janet was a friend, a mother and a grandmother. Her loss is deeply felt.
