19.01.2022 Happy Wednesday everyone. See the above workout, you can do this at home at any time. :) You will need some weights but can improvise with items at home. I like to use canned beans or if thats too light 1L milks or some text books always work. . . This workout is designed to work our upper body with more focus on our shoulders. I always like to incorporate some bigger compound moves into the workout, this helps ensure we switch on our core and gets the blood pumping through o...ur whole body. . . It doesnt always have to be about "how many reps we can do" lets focus more on staying nice and controlled through each exercise, this allows you to really isolate the muscle group you are working. . See below for todays workout for anyone that needs some motivation. .... FRIDAY WORKOUT :) . Remember always do a little warm up and stretch before each work out, and have water handy. . . Cardio Set - 3 continuous rounds of 40sec on 10 sec off. . . High Knees Shoulder Taps Squat Jumps Mountain Climbers Toe Touches - (use your water bottle as the middle marker) Burpees. . NOTE: The aim of this cardio set is to complete three rounds with out having a bigger rest in between. It really gets the heart racing. . After you complete this: Grab a drink, and rest for around 2-5mins depending on how you feel and get ready for the next workout. SQUAT ROUND: . 20 x squats 20 x Lunges (10 each leg) 20 x Sumo Squat 20 x Sumo Squat Pulse REST AB ROUND: . 20 X Bicycles 30 seconds Plank 20 X Heel taps . COMPLETE BOTH ROUNDS TWICE . FINISH :) . 04.01.2022 The power of positivity.. @strengthtostrength_ understands positive thinking isnt always attainable. However when we are feeling down, feel we have no control over ourselves or situations, when we feel small, lost, alone, heartbroken, sad, angry.. Try and allow yourself to stop for a moment and think about your positive attributes or moments in your life..Breathe...and Breathe some of that negativity away. . .... Tip: Write them down and say it out loud, whether its one thing or 5 things, doing this will allow you to see and hear positivity.. . Focusing on positives daily may help reduce stress, anxiety and gain control over your emotions. . Top tip: If you can't think of anything at the time, try and ask someone close to you. Let them know how you feel and I am sure they will have more positive things to say then you thought, rememeber we are our own worst critic and its important to use the support around us.
