20.01.2022 A message from Dr Bobby. Yes we are open and here for our patients! To all our current patients, you can rely on our ongoing service as your ongoing treatment is deemed essential until the authorities inform us otherwise. ... Those attending our practice will have already noticed our increased infection control measures and are no doubt becoming used to our entry and exit patient flow. Sunbird orthodontics has always embraced the one in, one out policy to minimise waiting times, however from now on, due to the current situation, this means we will have to implement even tighter measures on the numbers of people in the practice at any given time. For our patients, this means you will still be seen for your regular specialist treatment, however you may need to wait outside or in your car until the current patient has finished being treated, giving us the necessary time required to thoroughly disinfect the waiting area, surgery and entry and exit point. This process will happen for each and every patient who attends Sunbird Orthodontics. Further more, we will be phone screening all patients prior to any appointment to check for any cold or flu symptoms that have been present in the two weeks prior to their appointment. We will also ask that patients attend with one guardian only to minimise the amount of people coming through Sunbird orthodontics. Please be patient with my wonderful staff during this difficult time, we may not be able to offer you your preferred appointment time as we will need to allocate extra time to every patient attending our practice. This extra time will allow us to keep you and your family safe and healthy. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Cheers, Bobby and the team

For patients receiving Orthodontic treatment or wishing to start treatment, the approved level 1 restrictions allow us to practice as usual and continue to deliver our Specialist care! This measure has been implemented firstly to keep you safe and secondly, to preserve international stocks of gloves and masks required in the medical profession.
