25.01.2022 We are officially back!!! No fees for members until August 31, 2020



22.01.2022 Sunbury Badminton Club Hi Everyone, Hume Council has given us authorisation to return to badminton from Monday 29th June.... So we are returning to play from 7:30pm on Monday 29th June, Tuesday 30th June and Wednesday 1st July 2020. Only 20 players are allowed each night. No spectators. All Players Must sign in with name, phone number and time Follow Covid-19 health and hygiene rules and the Club’s Return to Sport Safety Plan Sanitise hands on entry and before and after each game Must play singles with the possibility of doubles We look forward to seeing you this week. 13.01.2022 Hi All Submitted Sunbury Badminton Club's Covid-19 Safety Plan to the Hume Council. We will be able to play singles only and max of 20 people in the stadium when the Council approves our plan. I will keep you updated. Paul Elam, President

10.01.2022 Thanks everyone for coming down this first week of reopening. We had a good turnout on all 3 days!! Just a reminder the cap for number of players is still 20 but hopefully this will change with the premier’s announcement this coming Sunday. Keep watching this space

10.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT Sunbury Badminton Club is closed this week all three nights (July 6-8) as a health and safety precaution. Will keep you updated for next week.



08.01.2022 Hi everyone, the wait is finally over. We are re opening from Monday Nov 30th. Mondays starting from 8pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting 7.30pm Fees: Members - free ... Non-members - $5 for seniors and $2 for juniors (under 18) COVID rules - limit of 20 players on first come first serve basis. - mandatory check-in with your names and contact details. - masks must be worn when you are not on a court playing. 07.01.2022 UPDATES - COVID SAFE RULES - Maximum number of 50 players - Masks are required to be carried at all times but wearing masks is no longer mandatory in the stadium - Check in/record keeping is required... - Social distancing where appropriate It’s effective immediately. And our last day of playing for 2020 is Dec 23rd. Look forward to seeing many of you at the stadium in next couple weeks!!!

06.01.2022 In line with the government’s stage 3 restrictions, Sunbury Badminton Club will be closed from July 13. We will post an update as soon as we have one so please keep checking back in and take care.
