24.01.2022 Reasons why I prefer programmed weight training over any other type of training: 1 IT’S SO MUCH FUN! 2 I feel really confident and powerful in my body when I feel fit and strong. ... 3 Following a program allows me to progressively overload without risking my safety with an ego weight on the bar. 4 Weightlifting will teach you patience and practice makes perfect . 5 The results are faster and easier to maintain 6 It’s really hard to begin with which makes it sooooo satisfying and empowering once you get the hang of things! 7 There’s no need for fancy equipment. This means I can train in any gym or even at home if I need. 8 I sleep like a baby 9 MORE FOOD!! Weightlifting burns a lot of calories and even more while you’re recovering from your session. Not to mention that as you gain more muscle, your maintenance calories will increase. YAY!! 18.01.2022 I used to exercise because I hated my body... Now I exercise out of appreciation for myself. Its funny because this body is nothing like the one I started with and its so different from the goal I had in mind 6 years ago and Im thrilled about it I place a lot more value on my emotional well being than having a ripped body these days and I think thats just fabulous. 10.01.2022 Do you take the pill? Birth control pills can (and usually do) deplete your vitamins. Unfortunately the vitamins that can take a hit are ones such as B6, B9, B12, magnesium, vitamin D and zinc. Each of these are included in the list of essential vitamins and minerals we need to be at the top of our game. You might only be subtly effected by these deficiencies but if you suffer with anxiety, depression, brain fog, trouble sleeping or a poor immune system, I would definitely be looking into supplementing! Theres really no need to be a cranky bitch xxxx

Well theres lots of things really but the most important in my opinion is to check that your barbell is following a straight line up and down. If it is then its a good sign that your body is moving well and if its not then you can start to look at whats restricting your movement

04.01.2022 Health hack: you should be taking a good quality magnesium supplement. Its almost impossible to get enough magnesium through a healthy diet in Australia due to the soil conditions. Taking a good mag sup will improve your insulin sensitivity, reduce your stress and help you sleep.
