21.01.2022 Today our Wing OC was invited by MPV Aviation Illustrations to go to his place of work to see the processes of 3D printing and what was involved in the 3D printing of the 1:10 scale of the GR4 Tornado that he has just completed. Out Wing OC was taken though the overly complex steps of 3D printing parts and ensuring they all fit correctly and to scale. The amount of detail that is involved is amazing. Marc also gave the Wing OC the opportunity to see firsthand the new 3D project. As you can see from the pictures, this is an amazing model. The current project should look out of this word once completed. A huge thank you to Marc for giving our Wing OC the opportunity to see these amazing 3D printed models in person with a hands on experience.

13.01.2022 A video of one of the parts of this 3D printed model. As you can see, a lot of aspects of this model have moving parts to make it more realistic. For more videos and pictures go follow MPV Aviation Illustrations

11.01.2022 This is MPV Aviation Illustrations current 3D project. As you can see, this has moving parts and is rather amazing, considering this is 3D printed and all made from scratch with no blueprints etc.

01.01.2022 Continuing on from our recent #MeetTheOfficers profile of the Australian Air League’s Chief Commissioner, today we have a short profile on the Australian Air Le...ague NSW Group Executive Commissioner, Lieutenant Commissioner Jeffrey Remington DSA MSA (N8228). 1. Date of Joining and what inspired you to do so? 10th April 1972. My godfather was the person who inspired me to join, he was a member fo the Royal Australian Air Force and a member of the air league as well. Also like many 10 year olds I wanted to fly! 2. What’s your favourite part of the Australian Air League? Meeting people, watching and assisting fellow air league members to grow and achieve greater horizons whether it was in education or simply in a general sense and seeing them become young men. 3. What’s your fondest memory associated with the Australian Air League? Travelling to Melbourne for the Federal Reviews by train and meeting other members from across New South Wales but also meeting new members whilst being billeted out with families from Victorian squadrons and becoming friends with them. Friendship is an important aspect of the league and so many people forget that. 4. What’s next, any big ideas for the Australian Air League moving into the future? Combining a state into one group was an experience and one I had never thought of doing within my first year as Group Executive Commissioner, and then came COVID-19 which has been the biggest challenge to date in a number of aspects trying to get specific information from the governments is not easy, but having learnt that a number of the younger members have embraced and are engaging on a number IT platforms is encouraging for the future. #volunteering #cadets #truelocal #lovelivo #moorebankblackbirds
