24.01.2022 Blue and white egg cups, platter, vase, mugs etc

23.01.2022 Helen will be throwing some pots that she'll turn into mugs to replace those bought by Cill last weekend. Anyone wanting to have a go on the wheel? Come along to Swan Bay, and wear clothes you don't mind getting muddy. It will be good fun!

23.01.2022 My business "hand crafted Ceramics" will commence on 26th January 2017. Cheers, Helen Jackson.

20.01.2022 Worked all Monday on these, undrglazing, sanding, glazing and packing the kiln for glost firing.

20.01.2022 The more that sells the more I can make!

17.01.2022 Wednesday afternoon Calida, Audrey, Felicity, Emily and Tania Reeves attended a ceramic art workshop at Swan Bay, Port Stephens. They made decorated bowls, threw pots on the wheel, and even managed to do some sculpting! Go Girls!

13.01.2022 Thursday afternoon Sunni Scharrer (multiple winner of the Sydney teapot festival) demonstrated how to throw large vessels on the potters wheel. His long time te...acher and friend, Willi Mikalski was pleased with the resulting big bowl and platter. Thank you Barbara, Sunnee, Willi and friends for visiting us at Swan Bay Pottery and Woodworks. @ Swan Bay Woodworks & Pottery See more

11.01.2022 A few weeks ago Sheree, Ellie and Kadence made a few things out of clay, and here they are. Not only did they entertain themselves for a few hours, they also ended up making some cool pottery pieces! Thanks for your company girls.

08.01.2022 Afternoon spent potting around.

06.01.2022 Kiln is on again. Bisque firing 11 dozen oyster-shell-dishes and a few funky slump dishes. Also a small series of white slump bowls decorated using a beautiful fine edging lace that looks like unfurling ferns sort-of-stenciled-on with my new batch of bright orange slip. Shouldn't take too long to mostly clear-spray-glaze them all next weekend, then into a couple of glaze firings. Patience, patience, patience....

04.01.2022 We are having an Open Day on Saturday 17th October to coincide with Karuah Oyster and Timber Festival.15. Visit the woodwork and pottery studios and view the Gallery display.

04.01.2022 This dish is for sale $85.
