17.01.2022 Good Morning Families, It is great to see so many interested in going down and competing in Adelaide. We have a team of 27 swimmers heading down. We do understand that a lot of swimmers are going down by themselves however we still need to pull our weight as a club. Due to this Swimming SA has asked us to provide 2 x inspector of turns each session. You don’t need to be qualified to do this all you need is to watch and make sure swimmers are touching the wall. If you can hel...p out please let me know ASAP what session and if you have a working with children’s card and you will need to complete a COVID-19 training and upload the certificate to swim central (if you send it to me I can do it for you) which takes 10min https://www.health.gov.au//covid-19-infection-control-trai . If you don’t have a working with children card we will work with you to obtain one. Thank you, Tim Few Head Coach Darwin Swimming Club

14.01.2022 URGENT There has been a burst pipe at the Casuarina pool. Tomorrow mornings competition is cancelled. There will be repairs conducted in the morning with the intention to open gates at 1pm for a 2pm start. Please pass this around to any that need to know.

13.01.2022 Bunnings time!!! Come down and support our swimmers and grab a sausage to help raise funds for the kids (and not so young) heading down to Adelaide for the South Australian Country Champs. Any support would be greatly appreciated, plus get to hang with our new famous COTY

03.01.2022 The Darwin Swimming club would like to gratefully acknowledge the generous support of the Northern Territory Government's Community Benefit Fund in our sun smart shade project. Through this grant we were able to purchase two new shade tents for both swimmers and spectators to use. Shaded swimmers are fast swimmers!!
