22.01.2022 Our community has been incredibly generous in their support of the MS Readathon. After we smashed through our initial goal of $1000, we increased it to $2000, then $3000. With one week left, our College community has raised over $4000! A representative from MS Readathon contacted TMC last week to thank us as one of the highest performing schools in QLD!

22.01.2022 One of the many joys of being at TMC is feeling a sense of the nature around us. Yesterday, a colony of bees visited the campus are started building a new hive near the stage, along one of our main walkways. Luckily, our groundsman, Marek, is an avid beekeeper and he quickly grabbed his suit and gathered them up. The TMC bees are now happy in their new hive with Marek's other 150 beehives on his property!

07.01.2022 A reminder that we have two new initiatives starting this afternoon in our car park: 1. The former 2-minute zone is now 'Immediate Pick Up Only'. You may only park in these spaces if your child is already waiting on the footpath. Primary parents wanting to use this facility should arrive a few minutes after the bell rings at 2:50pm. Before the children walk down from class, no one is permitted to fill these spaces, so please do not arrive early. 2. Families who have a child i...n Secondary are asked not to arrive at the car park until after 3pm. Parents who collect both Primary and Secondary students are also asked not to arrive until after 3pm. Mrs Melbourne and Mr Stevens will be in the car park this afternoon to supervise the car park 'Immediate Pick Up Zone'. It would be helpful if parents can follow this procedure without needing reminder. It is expected that there will be an adjustment period as everyone adapts to these changes, so please be patient

07.01.2022 Today was the final day of Rec Sport for the year! Congratulations to all students for their amazing improvement over the course of Term four.

07.01.2022 Wow, what a difference there was yesterday afternoon in the car park at pick up time! Thank you parents for following along with our new Immediate Pick Up Zone rules - Mrs Melbourne and Mr Stevens were very impressed by how easy it was for parents to arrive and collect their children. To make these changes into a new habit, remember these easy steps: 1. 'Primary only' parents - do not arrive before the 2:50pm bell if you want to use the Immediate Pick Up Zone. Children typica...lly take a few minutes after that to make it down to the pick up zone. 2. Parents collecting Secondary children - please do not arrive before the 3pm bell. If you also have a child in Primary, they can wait at the bench seats or under cover at the front of the admin building for their older sibling. Thank you again to all our parents for adjusting quickly to these new procedures!
