03.01.2022 After a busy Saturday at the Noorat show, doing a couple of cooking demos, and recovering yesterday, I was reading over emails last night to unfortunately read some shocking news. I am filled with sadness as what has happened in our Chefs Toolbox world. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Liquidators have taken over the running of the business. All staff at head office were told their jobs were gone and were sent home immediately. The Managers and consultants have received an ...email. The liquidators we believe are looking for a buyer to take over the company so now it is a waiting game. We have been told that this coming week orders will be filled and sent out. Until that happens I really cant promise that. We just dont know. I continue to believe that these are fantastic products and enjoy bringing you my cooking features and assistance. I hope that a buyer will be found in the very near future to allow everyone to pickup and power on with The Chefstoolbox. There are a few people I need to personally contact but at this stage I have no more information to share but will keep everyone updated. Edited to update with new information as I receive it: Update: For any of my loyal hosts, customers & consultants, at this point in time, we have been advised by the solicitor dealing with the liquidation, for any one with products ordered/owed/square roaster pre orders etc, you will need to direct ALL enquiries to the following email address. It is legally out of my control, and I can not begin to tell you how truly heartbroken & sorry I am. I do know customers who had already had orders shipped from wharehouse to you pre this tradgedy, can expect them shortly. So please be patient. 02.01.2022 FINAL, THE CHEFS TOOLBOX UPDATE. We, as consultants & leaders, have been informed today by the Liquidators the following. ~ There will be no refunds of ANY pre orders/back orders/warranty claims/chefs club dollars. ~ There is no money to cover anything including monies owed to any staff ~ There is actually now no point filling out any claim forms... PLEASE CONTACT/HEAD TO YOUR BANKS ASAP WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION. ~ You will need a copy of the 2 images on this post. ~ The bank needs proof of Pre Order- which the flyer shows. ~ If you are told there is a 3mth time frame, we have been strongly advised that you continue to pursue with you bank as you have proof. ~ If you have paid cash to the consultant, we will try on your behalf to recover and refund monies- but have no guarantee. As a Consultant with the company, I cannot apologise enough for the financial loss & inconvenience this has put you in. I am incredibly disappointed that legally I cant do more. Please know, if you need further information, do not hesitate to contact me.
